I hope you can also react to their live performances too. Usually their lives is always worth to watch 😊

If you add "-ai" to the end of your Google searches, it won't show you that AI result at the top! :)

Im new to SB19 but im sooooo hooked😆 This song is so cool and creative I love it!!!

Your Time First Take reaction took me here. This is my first time subscribing and upgrading on Patreon. Please have more SB19 content, and you’ll be surprised how supportive A’tin are. We pride ourselves on being a thinking fandom. So competent and credible reactions like yours are highly valued.

Im here because of the yt reaction 🤭😂

Hi Tim — Could you also do SB19’s Quit performance video? Thank you kindly!

For songs in Tagalog/Bisaya (Ken's dialect), please turn on your Closed Captions (CC) in YouTube. You'll appreciate the brilliance of Pablo in creating their songs. They usually have an English caption since they know they have an international audience. Good review though! Watch out for Ken (low voice) because he is a vocal chameleon. And Stell has the highest voice. You should check out his performance of All by Myself with David Foster live and Defying Gravity. All of them have a solo career outside of SB19, you should also check them out, too, as they have very different genres and styles individually. Other video reaction ideas would be the AAA 2023 and HITO Awards. They are live monsters in singing and dancing.

watch their DAM performance at the First Take please!

I would suggest watching and reacting on their First Take video of Dam please, as there the vocals and arrangements become very clear. Quite a talent, this group. https://youtu.be/B42BT1Waezw?si=cWnPPsB_CIN93EKM

Dam is a contraction of the word “Pakiramdam”, which means feeling.

Please do check out their DAM TFT

Stell is the Heavenly voice of this group. He covered ALL BY MYSELF during David Foster Concert in manila. He was asked to sing impromptu on that day😊

I am invested 😭

would also love if you took a look at the Dam TFT

a symbolism analysis would be awesome cause I really enjoy your inputs.

Hi Tim! Like others have said, "Dam" is a riff on the Tagalog word "Pakiramdam" which means "feeling". The song constantly asks "How does it feel?" "How will it feel?" You're right that it speaks about greed, but I believe they're touching on their artistic greed of wanting to pursue more. The chorus is quite dark and talks about the misfortunes they'll face but willingly accept head-on, singing how "it's all my fault" because they chose to be ambitious. The lyrics taunt about never knowing what it would feel like to achieve something you dream about if you never start. SB19 has a lot of hope core songs about pursuing dreams in their discography. I love that they've matured in their craft so much that they wrote DAM this way. It's a reality check that achieving the next level of work will not be all sunshine and rainbows, but to give it a go anyway. It just captures the frustration and discomfort you get familiar with everytime you want to push something further. I love this song so much!!

Another meaning is some statements against their haters but also a commentary on themselves for wanting so much out of their career. It’s admirable that they can even do that. They are super humble and also kind human beings.

Hi! Thanks for checking out SB19. Looking forward to seeing your reactions to their video. Would love to see you react to their Live performances.

Hi thank you for reacting to them. May i ask ifyou have a set schedule for all the grps you react or everything was spontaneous? Tyyy

wow i'm learning so much from this..thank you for reacting to SB19 they are definitely a world-class talent 🥹 please also react to their DAM and GENTO on First Take 🙏🏻

Hello! They have a version of this on The First Take. I hope you can react to more of their stuff soon because they are really a great vocal group. Also, their music videos have english subtitles :)

Hope youll do more sb19 content. Im happy you’re enjoying their music. I feel like you will enjoy their song MANA. 🤭They have live performance on wishbus. Its not their new song but definitely unique. It’s definitely one of my favourite including ilaw.

The high voice is Stell for this song. :)

I wish to see more sb19., please watch all their TFT performances. They also have a Rappler performance wish all so great. It's all live perf.

I was getting some Bollywood vibes so I pulled up that style of dance hits on YouTube to make sure. :) Love learning about another music scene - hope it's all as lively as these guys!

They just sang this on THE FIRST TAKE around 3 weeks ago. I hope you can also listen and react to it, as well as MAPA and GENTO on TFT too. What I really wouldn’t want you to miss though would be ILAW on WISH BUS (Better if you see lyrics video first for the meaning, but definitely wishbus performance). Thank you for this reaction and analysis!

Thank you for appreciating SB19

Hi Tim! I’m here from checking out your Time RV on YT of these amazing boys. I’m a big fan of Morissette and SB19. I’m glad you’re checking them out and hope you continue to do so. They are on a different level especially with the live performances and because of that, it’s hard for me to look at another group. SB19 deserves to be a household name. Thank you for taking the time to include them in your channel and for learning about them. Looking forward to more, especially their ballad songs🤗 Also for DAM, please check out their live performance with dancing (maybe from the HITO awards) and from the First Take. 🙏

Stell actually has the highest voice, it'll become apparent once you hear him belting ridiculous high notes. His tone quality is super clean too. Really glad you're getting into SB19 and OPM in general. When reviewing them I recommend also checking out their live performances; the Dam First Take is excellent. Plus almost all their songs have live versions on the Wish Bus. And their concerts are next level too. They're fantastic live performers, and I think that's what sets them apart.

Hi Tim! Thank you for reacting to our boys. Hoping to see more SB19 reactions.

Hi Tim! Thank you so much for reacting to sb19! to answer your question for the title, the word "DAM" is a shortened form of the word "pakiramdam," (which is also in the lyrics) and it means "feeling" or "sensation". Also there are english subtitles for their songs if you're watching from the official page! I hope you enjoy reacting/listening to them, they are a very versatile group! (And it's Stell with the highest note!) They're also known as Live Monsters, i prefer some of their live renditions myself since they add a lot of things to it to make it a bit different, but the Studio version of the song is always a blast, of course!
