Song Reaction Ideas November 2025! (🔥K-POP rec.'s on a separate post 👇)

In honor of Wicked 2, please react to Stell of SB19’s rendition of Defying Gravity. And after that, check out his guesting in David Foster’s concert in the Philippines where he was personally asked by David to sing All By Myself.

Alright since we have quick reacts now I'll toss this in for Vtuber music Our Rat Queen from down unda and the physical manifestation of Chaos, Bae https://youtu.be/7WXVFl-N6-o She made this song after playing Persona 5

Please react to Louise Charbonnel and her The Voice France Blind Audition: a cover of Tamino's "Indigo Night". Louise Charbonnel is 24 yo, singer and multi-intrumentalist (piano, bass, guitar). She has been educated in Jazz and Gospel, but extended her reach to pop. She is just about to release her first album. 3 years ago she was a revelation at The Voice France. Should have won but was strangely eliminated in semi-final, triggering a controversy within the audience. I attended one of her concert in a small jazz club and she was simply astonishing (with her dad playing bass). Here is the video I would like you to react to: https://youtu.be/PWBlFUnnqY4?si=M1JHtPRe4eUq6UzE

Pardon me if it's already been done and I missed it but I would love a Chanmina reaction and analysis

I'm looking forward for your Reaction and analysis for "Crimzone" from SB19. This some has a lot of English rapping verse mixed with Tagalog and Bisaya

I would love to see a reaction for Downstairs from Twenty one pilots. This song is from their last album Breach and I really love this live performance. https://youtu.be/zcZMQZbPMxM?si=okJIxp4r6tksbVQb

I’d love to introduce you to Official Hige Dandism, a Japanese pop-rock band known for the singer's smooth and soulful vocals and incredible musicianship, blending pop, rock, R&B, jazz, and funk. Their live performance are insanely tight and full of emotions. I think you’ll be impressed by how consistently they deliver studio-level quality on stage. Official Hige Dandism - Mixed Nuts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vl8MMQQA3YM

I am advocating for more reactions to Japanese artists <3 such as Minami: She is an incredible vocalist, songwriter and overall just an unbelievable musician. "Hollowness" is the song I am recommending for you to check out. You would probably fall in love with this song since it has some really complex song structure, an unbelievable vocal performance and the really deep and emotional lyrics which Minami is known for. https://youtu.be/HIRiduzNLzQ there is also the song "Crying for Rain" which made her breakout in the Japanese scene.

HomeFree “Get Down Like That” For a good mood, a bit of modern country and an example of how to make acapella sound like a radio ready record. https://youtu.be/_PQ5kOkn-f8

I am always for Tool - The Pot (easy entry but great vocal colors), or just for raw power Tool - The Grudge

Rosalia's Lux album PLEASE!! :)

Rosalia's LuX album in full

🇧🇷🇧🇷/🇺🇾Did you know that NMIXX has been releasing music for three years, but only now they’re finally starting to win awards? “Blue Valentine” is their first big hit — it reached #1 on all Korean platforms and is sweeping up every award out there! 💙🔥 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EmeW6li6bbo&pp=ygUFbm1peHg%3D 🇺🇾/🇧🇷🇧🇷

Hello, I recommend again: No promises to keep sung by Aerith from ffvii rebirth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZr337zWYVY . Tim, when analyzing Music do you favor vocal Performances or are instrumentals only also okay when it comes to video game music? Greetings Martin

I think you'll like this one. It features two VTubers that you've already analyzed (Bao and Moari) as well as one of the most popular English cover artists for anime (AmaLee(Leeandlie)(Monarch)) Amanda Lee. She has over 1 billion viws on her songs on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzzktEXaspI

Third times a charm haha still would love to hear your thoughts on “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. https://youtu.be/U8toUHjfE0E?si=X_72ofB2rrhDYGEv They start playing at 1:20. It’s a simple but raw performance from the movie “Once” and is a great vocal performance by both of them.

Danger! High Voltage- by Electric Six It’s rock and has amazing lyrics

I know it's late but Id love to see you react to some Eurovision performances

would love to see you react to katseye they have really blown up since their second EP dropped a couple months ago. they were formed together by the labels hybe (think bts) and geffen (think olivia rodrigo) and are a global girl group who were trained using the kpop methodology. the have a lollapalooza performance you can check out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY2EQBZ_ZAA

https://youtu.be/6F1d0gW3V30?si=fZMhjVO3mpGZGBtK I once again plead for louder than words from Les Friction 😭😭😭😭

One more rock/metal suggestion. Bad Omens - "Specter" They're one of my favorite bands of the last couple years. Very melodic, emotional, rock/metal. This song features some great vocals from their singer, Noah Sebastian, who has a very emotive voice. He had good range and can tap into a number of different styles and textures. And this song has some great production in general. https://youtu.be/EUe9UhcUtEI?si=i9pEohbnWNduXYFw

Rock/Metal suggestion: Novelists - Okapi (Live + Gospel version). While they are classified as metal. Many of their songs are very melodic and even have some pop elements. They are not extreme enough that the average listener wouldn't still enjoy them. Them song in particular is one of the most beautiful metal songs I've ever heard. The singer's vocals were captured live on site where the video was recorded. It was then mixed with her own backing vocals along with the rest of the album track, plus gospel choir that was not part of the original song. https://youtu.be/6_E3sbOENWo?si=4MWvZVIeCUPv1imn

Florence And The Machine have been releasing new music and of course it's incredible. I think she's one of the most talented artists of my lifetime. Here is a recent live performance of "Sympathy Magic." It's a very powerful song as it deals with her brush with death from an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in her needing emergency surgery a few years ago. https://youtu.be/SbPvXYy8tVM?si=eqkbp8743lRXMM73

A suggestion for a new anime reaction, since I saw you're doing AoT... It's something completely different, but it would be super fun to see you react to Yuri!!! On Ice. It's about figure skating and is only 12 episodes. It deals with a lot of great themes such as body image and homophobia in sports, as well as having some pretty cool music (both the theme song and some of the music in the very excellently animated figure skating scenes). Plus I just think you'd like it. :)

Seeed - Augenbling https://youtu.be/qttGJ3il62Y?si=mgSbi45OMbb9xn1W Watching the Berq and Electric Callboy reactions made me think how many crazy german songs there are that could be fun for you to Check out😂😂 This one in paticulary is absolutly iconic! The Band Seeed is doing a weird Mix of Dancehall, Reggae and German Hip-Hop thats hard to describe but really fun to listen to😆 Considering you lived in Germany for a bit you might actually know one of their lead singer Peter Fox (maybe from this song: https://youtu.be/qdtLCfEcPL4?si=G5kR3q14fOb1CvF2)

Jinjer- pisces https://youtu.be/SQNtGoM3FVU?si=pC7wH3DOW87WagjK

You were talking about the background music while watching AOT and i felt like i had to reccomend in my opinion the best anime OST: Hanezeve Caradhina https://youtu.be/mnRoh0lGxwM

Please do more faouzia ! https://youtu.be/mzri5P4obaw?si=nQEbaPCcYNfs66my https://youtu.be/vnCi_QV2J48?si=skf0QgOn1TOo7ZvU Thanks!

Confrontation from the musical Jekyll and Hyde please? Not to be confused with the song of the same name from Les Mis https://spotify.link/NxPCSLUpZXb

you already know the drill... still determined to get you to listen to fall out boy, LOL! i still recommend "headfirst slide into cooperstown on a bad bet", it's probably got some of their best vocals on that track, and for an introduction why not go right into it!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=silxVNCDFpQ and to change it up a little bit, i think you'd also like rina sawayama, esp her self-titled album. my favorite from that is "bad friend" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLXtc2OSrLQ

Yorushika - That's Why I Gave Up on Music https://youtu.be/KTZ-y85Erus?si=p38HCRyYkCFNUAtO

I wish you review Céline Dion in FRENCH and other french Canadian voices! Céline Dion known for the titanic song, does a lot of English songs, but she grew up in northern Ontario close to Québec border(abitibi where I do live!) and her mom is Québecoise. Her french songs are from her early career and a bit unknown outside Québec, but these song resonates in our heart a lot more. Those songs lyrics are very psychological(about your inner child, parents relationships, passionate love and depency) and were way more vulnerable than her recent stuff which is more energic and powerful. https://youtu.be/AzaTyxMduH4?si=xDYxtKId96a29n4e https://youtu.be/04j8e1Y_ufA?si=6nCMBbcv_biEiPxc This one make me want to cry everytime for some reasons On ne change pas https://youtu.be/3tOsUgwBgko?si=7pMl_HtjRfFBBBBp Isabelle Boulay I really like her and we make jokes that if you listen too much to her songs you'll become depressed and suicidal https://youtu.be/4PJaz1_VKp0?si=RYFne55o3aJvgT-q https://youtu.be/mEpsVLwHTXA?si=HJ9IL2io5GimYtNg https://youtu.be/SbDdn0HzEIc?si=fso0SV-D9rKFzM2R Garou duo with Celine Dion https://youtu.be/a2_ss9y-VjE?si=wSRJp7SRDJH8yJVd Natasha St pierre(more mélancolic love songs) https://youtu.be/yB_UBqMRvKk?si=a6fVmCdHTDBOGaH4 https://youtu.be/qZMjiEkT-yA?si=xdwzFAuCSvvMVOdg https://youtu.be/cT6zOmMcEiA?si=7_VcoDbRciVUySZW André waters rock(play full love song) https://youtu.be/alpjCz7a72w?si=1DlzewEBXZoEa7gp https://youtu.be/tjPVsAOscrE?si=xsCbh1XtTS4Ldbx6 Marie Mai rock(a bit gothic and pop) https://youtu.be/7k1yAhCB1y0?si=ulRED0bbk6d6ETrH https://youtu.be/zLui7MMcajY?si=epne7EhH0FDI-jO1 Gabrielle des trois maison https://youtu.be/PFvEd2nPPuo?si=m_QoQY3NTff_gQnO Laurence nerbonne pop edm(light ethereal pop) https://youtu.be/4re4dxjF9qY?si=95KQc3FJf0LPKz95 https://youtu.be/Velm5U1IFeI?si=ygs1Et9qzNmLz6qZ Loud rap pop hip hop(mix french and English) https://youtu.be/ukHmEZXUdqQ?si=-SuYbpEl8eBRw42z Arianne Moffat https://youtu.be/Sq--E2yOyuk?si=m-QnH0P3KP0gR5Y_ Marie Chantal toupin rock(gen x vibe about death of earth and society, conservative ecological consciousness IMHO) https://youtu.be/su1moitTeWA?si=jG6y8F3QF9thsVrv Claude Dubois https://youtu.be/-OJIUuyXkGs?si=FNfsOoSrBj1yTOAO Mario Pelchat (I'm crying in the rain so you don't see it) a bit cringe but catchy https://youtu.be/wdigobV-CJA?si=w1WSmf0D9-q8PiEI Marjo classic rock(boomer hippy song about love and freedom and a feminist bit. She is the great mother of rock in Québec) https://youtu.be/KyUmMu0og2o?si=GMz4PajptHLTliV2 Zachary Richard La ballade de jean batailleur (Acadian/Louisiana with a broken french I love it, song about being a drunken pos without future, and a duel) this song is very interesting for the singer background, the last Cajun fench only speaking family apparently. Pretty much the fossil of an extinct culture. https://youtu.be/LzDLHtUjRh0?si=2-jO75ndpZpQErpt Those are among the most popular locally and also on international level. Maybe translate it before listening for better context.

Ok. So I will also leave a recomendation. That would be again: - Yötön Yö (Nightless Nights) from the game Alan Wake 2 Story about it: Song is performed in finnish language by the janitor Ahti (played by finnish actor Martti Suosalo) on a local joint somewhere in the state of Washington encountered by the protagonist. This is the full song from game OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQAVUpCGM0I&list=RDfQAVUpCGM0I&start_radio=1 And that's how it looks in actual game (just to feel the climate, in game he only sings a part of it): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82tde7xIfwQ&list=RD82tde7xIfwQ&start_radio=1

End of a life by vtuber Mori Calliope

Niche "lost media" Ado cover at age 17. Syudou's Call Boy. Venomous lyrics, very aggressive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFBYxWrIwmo

this song by ADÉLA has been on heavy repeat for me! she’s one of the girls from dream academy, where katseye formed from! this song/the lyrics are about her experience with the industry and she made this as a completely independent artist at the time! ADÉLA - SUPERSCAR https://youtu.be/Pn6ey6HOkP4?si=2xUwR3t1OfcI9XAU

Life by Neurosama - https://youtu.be/MDc1mjrIsPM?si=IexwUQZnBPP9187h. I know that many people thought of AI and especially AI in the music space is conflicted at best, but this song represents what how I think AI should be used. It’s a song made with both AI and humans, and is nothing like the “slop” that people talk about. I really think that you would enjoy it, Tim

if we wanna keep with some MCR, i love this live recording! i actually prefer it over the studio version! MCR - You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us In Prison https://youtu.be/6atWOU-6HYI?si=vsq_hLDPinmaX4Td

Please react to “Hiroyuki Sawano Project emU” and keep the aot streak going strong😎!!!!

Hey I’d love to see your reaction to Mitski she’s a fantastic artist especially drunk walk home and class of 2013 the amount of emotion in her voice and when she screams always blows me away

I have two suggestions the first one is the biggest one and I think if you do a reaction to it you will see a lot of attention to it as they have a very dedicated fan base. My first suggestion would be to react to the who is Neuro-sama video. The second video is just an insanely good cover that I'd love to here you break down as a vocal coach as the singers voice is just amazing. 1.How a Turtle Accidentally Created the Perfect AI Streamer https://youtu.be/wZ0osmPlSaY?si=R5g9CoDLJFQw39hB 2. Love Me, Love Me, Love Me (Nerissa Ravencroft) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWU3o_kDixc&list=RDRWU3o_kDixc&start_radio=1

Ghost by Jeff Satur - https://youtu.be/qguo-j5PxBE?si=yBSF05dnMp0luYoO The music video is kind of confusing but his voice is great.

Two other songs from MGA that got me hooked: https://youtu.be/CHseQQ3WETU?si=RW8RrX-03D85ap32 https://youtu.be/Jy-QS27q7lA?si=k5hfcvEfXFjPdZF2 The video for the second song made me a bit weepy.😭

I'm going to piggyback on neZiiak's suggestion from October and advocate for Mrs Green Apple https://youtu.be/atJbRXERvH8?si=5S-HiHCu4Anv-960

suggesting two francophone artist that also has english songs Yseult and Charlotte Cardin, Klo Pelgag (Maison jaune and J'aurai les cheveux longs) which only sings in french

One of my favorite Metal Bands - Unprocessed, with one of my favorite songs of theirs - Sacrifice me. Their lead Manuel is an amazing singer and one of the best guitarists ive ever seen. The band themself are doing technical prog metal but keeping it in service to the song itself without just going crazy on the playing, which is why i love them so much. I think you'd like them. Here's the official MV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivXDVKwzCIw And here's a video of their Singer and Lead guitarist Manuel doing a one take live video singing and playing the guitar at the same time. :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3TynusIfL0

I'll put my plea in this message as well in case you see it first: it's savaLLion, not savayon 😂 You do pronounce the Ls, like Medallion. Or just shortening to "Sava" is fine too, a lot of my friends do that. I'm actually going to suggest something that ISNT stray kids for once (wow). This song had me in an absolute chokehold when it came out: Transcendental Cha Cha Cha by Tom Cardy. All the songs on this album were certified BANGERS, but this one was accompanied by an incredible fully-animated music video that is just. SO. GOOD. If you hadn't heard of him, Tom Cardy does a lot of silly comedic songs for YouTube/TikTok but he also creates some really polished, smart pieces like this. If you like this one there are a lot of other really good ones as well, some being a bit niche. https://youtu.be/BLzxuIfD9rU?si=qlnd4XCUNM0TkR1-

More Ado

Sing - My Chemical Romance https://youtu.be/hTgnDLWeeaM?si=ljc0Oxstybch4V8C This one is from their 4th album which was, in my opinion, criminally underrated when it came out.

Please do "look at the rain fall" or "beautiful death" from Of Ashes the musical!! Honestly anything from it is worth a listen!!

Please Aurora live at Nidarosdomen! Please please please!!!

HomeFree “Do You Hear What I Hear” Not the usual Christmas soundscape. https://youtu.be/wIQQDYaoWpc

Dum Dum (live English version) Jeff Satur

Eternity - Alex Warren https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXqf3uqLkkU

Hey Tim! Tis the season! So why not a Tori Holub Christmas song? This is an original that was given to her to sing after the composers; Donnie Demers and Steve Eaton heard her on a short video. They had the song done but no voice that fit. To understand why they had difficulty finding a voice. Steve had previously written “All You Get From Love Is A Love Song” one of the last Top-40 hits for Carpenters. This was from late 2023 and is an audio. Christmas Again by Tori Holub: https://youtu.be/V7tDu9Gshds?si=e7PNLOYfg5EDwfBi . Merry Christmas Tim! Joe

SEVENTEEN KILLING VOICE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ca0xEJH9wY&t=2s they are amazing you'll definitely LOVE them💖

I once again humbly request "Louder than words" by Les Friction 🥺🥺🥺 https://youtu.be/6F1d0gW3V30?si=bLgHg5mVGgShOMRZ

Creepy Nuts - Bling Bang Bang Born https://youtu.be/H6FUBWGSOIc?si=S2w2KJILiErepehs This song is just alot of fun and I find myself keep going back to it because of that😆 I think there is some kind of anime context here but I honestly dont really know so if somebody is more informed please help me out😂

NF - Hope I think I remember you saying you don’t react to rap but this one is really good! https://youtu.be/tsmPCi7NKrg?si=Bksihf1B4sU_q3sW

Let's try a symphonic metal band that I don't think you have heard before. This band is my personal find of the year. The band is German, formed in 2014. The lead singer, Jennifer Haben, has a distinctive, beautiful and powerful voice. The band is Beyond the Black and the song is Shine and Shade https://youtu.be/DDCAFR4rIk8?si=SIvaFhGV3JCyIIeP

Hi Tim! :) I am once again recommending League songs! True Damage - GIANTS - https://youtu.be/sVZpHFXcFJw True Damage is their fictional hiphop/rap group using champions from League. They partner with real artists Becky G, Keke Palmer, SOYEON, DUCKWRTH, and Thutmose. Sherly Lee Ralph - Blood Sweat and Tears - https://youtu.be/rhTZTy1rZhw This song was about Ambessa (from Arcane) when it was announced that she would be put into the game. The vocal texture in her voice is so juicy in this song. Pentakill - Mortal Reminder - https://youtu.be/5-mT9D4fdgQ Pentakill is their fictional metal group using champions from League. They partner with real artist Jorn Lande. HEARTSTEEL - PARANOIA - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDErQ1KTzaI True Damage is their fictional boyband group using champions from League. They partner with real artists BAEKHYUN, tobi lou, ØZI, and Cal Scruby. Awaken - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF5Ddo9JdpYI was made to kick off the 2019 competitive season. Legends Never Die - https://youtu.be/r6zIGXun57U is another REALLY GOOD song (practically iconic at this point). It was made for Worlds, which is their pro esports championship. They feature real artist Against the Current.

Definitely Doja Cat's new album "Vie"! Would recommend those if you can't react to the whole album but the album is a gem. "AAHHH MEN" "STRANGER MV" "GORGEOUS MV" "TAKE ME DANCING"

https://youtu.be/Is1PyvA0MAU?si=lMgEnvytsQeAAb0t Afterlife by Evanescence. A few months ago Devil May Cry got a new anime on Netflix. The series wasn’t the greatest in the world, but this song was really enjoyable

Jeremy Enigk of Sunny Day Real Estate released a solo album like nothing I'd ever heard in 1996, called Return of the Frog Queen. I'd love to see you react to any part of the album, the whole thing, or even the live performance he did of the whole album for its 20th anniversary in 2016. https://youtu.be/4T8S8_hSDhs?si=rGrc29zuRNv5P5tc

Berq - Rote Flaggen Since you seemed to enjoy AnnenMayKantereit I thought of another german artist for you to Check out. I absolutly love this song! Its emotional but at the same time has something really unique and cool to it that I think you would really like😊 https://youtu.be/1NiSbpN-LaI?si=cCimMwfBXEvpDw1h
