K-POP SONG RECOMMENDATIONS-November 2025

I've been listening to a lot of Akugetsu, who does some covers, some original songs, and is also one of my favorite voices from Alien Stage (he plays Till from the "Round 2" video)! Since you've already started some Alien Stage, here are a couple of other Akugetsu recommendations: Darling (cover, J-pop): https://youtu.be/y7amUWHq43Q?si=TzQyoXLZSdin1Aak Maestro (original): https://youtu.be/SPPZHd7AIQc?si=namYf0Tr8o0gjxza

Cyberpunk by Ateez There isn’t a music video for this song, but I definitely think it’s worth checking out. ☺️ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=N3pWSpMt-LY

Quick Take: Han (Skz) - Dont say https://youtu.be/wnEJinE9qRI?si=vAmEK2622cmB3dgB This was a solo song by Han that unfortunaly doesnt even have a studio Version. Im personly absolutly obsessed with it!! Han loves artists like Yungblud and I think you can hear that in his solo Songs. Its really just a fun little personal favorite of mine😆

I think you would love Lee Mujin Service, it's an interview show where singers come and talk and also sing songs. The host is also an amazing singer, I would love to hear your analysis of his voice. At the time of this comment there has been 191 episodes, so you have a lot you could delve into. It could allow you to react to Korean singers who aren't necessarily Kpop. This is personally my favourite episode as it brought together MINNIE from GIDLE, BANG YEDAM a soloist and Lily from NMIXX since it was a special for the 100th ep. https://youtu.be/FPdgMkOaezs?si=LQVuX68rfZThoDdi

I would love a reaction for any of Seungmin's (from skz) covers on SONG by, one of my favorites is Ep. 07. Twenty five, Twenty one. https://youtu.be/_-v8WZfgL38?si=eJABP-1bmBIRMxxo But i would like any cover from that series, he started it last year because he wanted to share more of his singing and techniques that he doesn't always get to showcase in skz songs. Here is the playlist with all the episodes in case something else catches your attention https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2HLJ87twWI02-y9tIcZ6ekQ7ziYpLkH_&si=kH4DKKGcJYcyInfU

Wow, so many comments. Mine might get lost but just in case: HALAZIA by ATEEZ: https://youtu.be/SszP3hlQ55Y?si=dhZ25jiVH7otJgAn ATEEZ's Killing Voice: https://youtu.be/6w7dtJLkXXE?si=l-Zw7DEEXDQoYD6q Turbulence by ATEEZ: https://youtu.be/80WvAnsHOdM?si=EiQc4E0iq8w1LECb They also performed it on a show called "It's Live" (which unfortunately tends to use autotune, though I don't know how much): https://youtu.be/BycpPeGWM-c?si=WNFFcds-vGfGzTwl Also, I suggest putting the HALAZIA reaction on YouTube, that tends to bring the fandom running. And sorry for all the comments in quick succession!

Case 143 by StrayKids. You mentioned finding it unique in the killing voice and I have recently rediscovered my love for the song. It is an energetic, glitchy, pop-rap track that treats falling in love like catching an unexpected “case.” It mixes bold rap, catchy hooks, and chaotic sound effects to capture the confusing, overwhelming rush of new feelings https://youtu.be/jYSlpC6Ud2A?si=XjJQ5rTh9LMxZ1pv

AKMU x Killing Voice I would love a reaction on AKMU, they are a brother and sister duo that writes all their own music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hr35Kr2aXA

BTOB + Kingdom Skz - I'll be your man You said you wanted to check out BTOB and you seemed to like the Kingdom Performance so I think doing another double reaction could be fun. The idea got alot of likes in the comments so I figured I might aswell put it in here🤗 BTOB: https://youtu.be/P1TEAmMeT58?si=o6qCybnPMNhT69hc Straykids Kingdom: https://youtu.be/8_pLQnZ09Hk?si=qlq1qQ52xx_-vybt

A great duo song by StrayKids members Lee Know and Seungmin is CINEMA. I would classify the song as it’s upbeat and cinematic (fittingly), with smooth vocals and a warm, feel-good energy that highlights the group’s softer, more sentimental side. https://youtu.be/G4CAFJ5mLXU?si=gG1MtmN5m2P2WK6s

It would be amazing if you could please watch/listen to some ZEROBASEONE. They are a 9-member boy group formed on the survival show Boys Planet. Their most recent title track is 'Iconik' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnYtDIW7elY) and they are known as really good vocalists as a whole. They often post covers of different songs on their channel and two songs they covered in two units on a variety show just before their debut caused a lot of buzz - 'Start Over' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9R4FOFUC-5E) and 'Phonecert' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-D7sXEwLvQ)... They are even better vocally now, but I still go back to these two covers. Also, their songs 'Doctor! Doctor!' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BXF8gSpEwY) and 'Sweat' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6J2tyiQ_V6s) which were both pre-releases to albums are fan favourites.

You I know I am so so late to this but Aespa is by far my favorite band and has multiple songs written by EJAE who i know you love. just a thought!

I don't see anything yet for Stray Kids' GIANT, but I watched the MV for the first time last night and was blown away! Lots to notice musically- I'm still processing but it has a really epic quality to it. The MV itself is quite cinematic and captivating. It's in English and Japanese (there is no Korean version that I can tell) so is it still KPOP idk, but since they are a KPOP group I'm putting it here. This is their official video, not sure if there is a version with names labeled! https://youtu.be/h21pp5-k9SA?si=VfcV81IlPZ8mXN3n

Your ironmouse reaction said you wanna hear more Mori Calliope - she also covered takedown with some other really talent vtubers. Heres the link for Takedown from kpop demon hunters by Mori Calliope, AmaLee, and Bao the Whale. The music production is also a bit different like mouses version of how its done, you should definitely check it out https://youtu.be/LzzktEXaspI?si=ofOI4dcaKf9zoaxu

On last month recommendation post I had suggested this video, despite it not being a music video. Again, I am not sure if I can suggest it since it's not exactly just a song by a group, but clips of the process of recording the albums (so technically songs do appear, kinda). To sum it up the video shows them directing the recording and giving tips to one another about how to sing certain parts in songs or other similar things and just basically see the process and how they do it as they are always very involved in it. Someone commented that this is a compilation and not as focused as other videos, which to be fair is true, but otherr videos are longer and I am not sure if you have the time to watch them. Besides, this compilation also serves as a sort of preview so you know what the others are like. If you you would like or prefer to watch the longer and more detailed videos (not compilations, but actual making of and filming of recording process of their albums, which you can find on Stray Kids youtube channel), I would love it as I think many stays would too. I just thought this would be more accessible for you as a first. Nonetheless, I really hope you consider giving this a chance, as it really shows how involved they are in making their music and also how passionate they are about it. Really been loving your stray kids song reactions. https://youtu.be/BkZrKyjBeIk?si=Gd1-LewR_f1KU97F My first language isn't english, so please do tell me if something didn't make sense 😊

I would love to see more K/DA, especially More and I’ll Show You! https://youtu.be/WW1BpABbzHs?si=NJEift4HK9AWrJcU https://youtu.be/3VTkBuxU4yk?si=gPvxqm8wFF7ihYdW

BTS' live version of 'Film Out' at Music Blood is one of their best vocal performances in my opinion! Would love to hear your thoughts on it. - https://youtu.be/nvbDUtrWSt0?si=hp236Uirn1VJX9wR

We still haven’t done TXT (BTS’s little brothers), so I’ll recommend their Tiny Desk Korea this month instead. https://youtu.be/yEjWRJ2xWRM?si=ZavXOqVAtj7JipbJ It has subtitles when they’re talking & for the third (last) song.

Woodz - Accident. TV performance from The Show (A Kpop music program): https://youtu.be/wSIA5Q1U9Mk?si=KJ5PAbHvZPYNESD9 Ps. His official live clip has better audio but no subtitles: https://youtu.be/C2ybLIsT21c?si=Yrfz7pp3mjGyIxF-

Please do NCT 127 'Killing Voice' 🙏 https://youtu.be/SM5VZzWYO5Y?si=Fruru528GtzppEJ3

I think it’s time Tim put a face to JYP. This song was posted in the chat a few times so Tim can see JYP and Rain (and 1sec of Psy) https://youtu.be/-Bf_BB9iTNI?si=rjyYNJUc0TFhsqQV

https://youtu.be/0lapF4DQPKQ?si=TrEhLTUpPEXWALiF Just for fun I’ll put this one here again. Black Swan by BTS. The fear of losing passion for something you love. The song itself is one of their more underrated ones, which is a shame because it’s so good, and the choreography was made to highlight Jimin and his contemporary dance training

BTS Unpluggged (live) Fix You Blue & Grey Life Goes On BtS Proof Live

Hwasa “Good Goodbye” There are a couple of live versions: one at home and one with live band.

They are not not properly Kpop but XG (a japanese girl group), suggesting starting with : Winter without you, Is this love, In the rain, something ain't right, as they are their most 'vocal' songs, their other songs are more rap heavy (they also have the tapes series where the three vocalists do covers)

I'll also drop a message for people to ♥ if they want a reaction to the DO IT mini album coming out by Stray Kids on November 21. I don't have a link obviously because it's not out yet, but there should be at least 1 music video, probably 2 since they've marked two as "title" songs. I know at least a few of us in the chat are barely restrained, ready to go feral for this, because the teaser images are insane. The released track list has just 5 songs: Do It, [korean title - I think they translated it to 'DIVINE'], Holiday, Photobook, Do It (festival version).

As a vocal coach discovering Kpop it's inevitable to check out Mamamoo eventually. They're their league on their own when it comes to vocals. This is their "Immortal Songs Medley", a medley of several Korean popular songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3YCi0qBMzs

Carryover from last month: Stray Kids ESCAPE. This is a duo song with Bang Chan and Hyunjin, described by them as a sequel or extension of Red Lights. Lots of little references to the Red Lights video if you can remember it. This is pretty solidly one of my favorite songs, period, and the video is so cinematic and tells a powerful story. Their acting is so good here, too. To help with understanding some of the symbolism: Bang Chan is usually associated with being a wolf, while Hyunjin is associated with being a ferret. (all the stray kids have a representative animal). Easy to tell them apart in this one because Hyunjin had his buzz cut here. Also since it's not super clear from the video - Bang Chan is the one singing around 1:20 - a lot of people ask who it is singing during that part. https://youtu.be/LvCmsOWPwKA?si=f4e09UVI29q1Y04k

Before my rec: its SavaLLion, you pronounce the L's, like medallion 😂 or just "Sava" is also perfectly fine. I'll do my recs separate again so people can heart the specific one(s) they want. First up is the Stray Kids version of "Lose My Breath". This is fully English. The song is from a collab they did with Charlie Puth. The official song/music video that includes Charlie Puth is excellent, but this "Stray Kids" version only has Stray Kids for vocals and its done in a more Live format so you can really hear their voices. From what I heard, most of them found this song really challenging because of the focus on vocals and it being in English and worked with coaches to prepare. I think they did such a good job. I would recommend checking out the official video after, just because its as top-tier, beautifully made as all their official videos are. https://youtu.be/SE05iCw3qY8?si=9BcjTTxhNykrmpdl From left to right in the video, their names and a note about roles they're often associated with: Lee Know - dancer Han - all rounder with a focus on rapping I.N. - vocals, youngest/maknae Felix - we all know felix by now :) deep voice, dancer Bang Chan aka Chris - songwriter/producer, leader Hyunjin - dancer Seungmin - main vocals Changbin - rapper (but he has some really nice vocals in this)

nct u coming home https://youtu.be/57sYinArEC4?si=qx8uqpdPd6kEYBfb

I recommended reacting to the group Forestella. They are not necessarily pop music but they are a Korean quartet group of amazing vocalists. Some are classically trained and have experience in musical theatre. Their live covers of Je Suis Malade, Hijo de la Luna, and Bohemian Rhapsody are phenomenal. Je Suis Malade: https://youtu.be/6LHaxFzSz4w?si=4HKtm9Zc8w50uD8G Hijo de la Luna: https://youtu.be/LJc7wXa9JG8?si=PT17NJ1sKNiAHGpo Bohemian Rhapsody: https://youtu.be/xUVysL9PbzM?si=jrIZ8U5C_vb9aQjs

Music dump time! Mamamoo Immortal Song Medly https://youtu.be/h3YCi0qBMzs?si=LSbjJ6rUQmL0iPR7 Forestella songs whose names I can read: Save Our Lives Snow Globe White Night Time in a Bottle Champions Maldita sea mi suerte The Sky and The Dawn and The Sun Angel Legends Never Die Forestella songs whose names I can't translate lol: https://youtu.be/ScwrZAoDaRU?si=hd1UPwH-7stpPDjB https://youtu.be/eL6dFGQjOfc?si=gdunyhrw6dHc6RNB https://youtu.be/ruLxZr-ZN1Q?si=WuzSb-erEdYkLSBF https://youtu.be/Mef9MDqo1Bo?si=lICwSFjMBlrfFyzQ

https://youtu.be/CjNpo3uXkwE?si=ksYwep06ZlzkAF5N K-Rock instead of K-Pop, but I figured it fit better here than the other song recommendation post. Sorry by The Rose. They’re more soft rock, but I feel like Woosung has a very interesting vocal tone

Sorry clicked Post too quickly in my excitement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsRogAzmsF8&list=RDOsRogAzmsF8&start_radio=1

Big Mama killing voice - a VERY different genre of KPop from what you have covered so far, and I would just love to hear your analysis of their different voices and vocal techniques!

Mama from Exo

Ateez killing voice Seventeen killing voice NCT 127 killing voice NCT dream killing voice Monster x killing voice Enhyphen killing voice LMAOOO ALL KILLING VOICES! 😭

I want to recommand checking out Legendary Kingdome again and especially this performace!!Its a Cover of IUs Song Love poem done by Jongho from Ateez (on the left), Eunkwang from BTOB (middle) and Seungmin from Stray Kids (right). Its really beautyfull and gives me chills every time. https://youtu.be/5Rl67uU_oJs?si=xXSrEueHzXhMJfQE Kingdom Legendary War was a competition show where big Kpop groups competed with each other. This paticular performace was a collaboration between the Main Vocalists of said 3 groups.

I want to recommend checking out IU’s killing voice. IU is a solo artist who is call the nation’s little sister in Korea because she debuted young and is very loved in Korea. https://youtu.be/wDfqXR_5yyQ?si=YE27UZ7Dq-ori1RD

Jonghyun (SHINee) - Let Me Out This song hit (and still hits) super hard considering his passing. He was such a beautiful soul, but he struggled and ultimately took his own life and this song really speaks to it. This is the lyrics video so you can really feel it https://youtu.be/TFK_T3yhzk0?si=uicwxb56WbctY9RY

XG New song "Gala"

Some Killing Voice performances since they're a great way to get introduced to an artist's/group's discography: Red Velvet Killing Voice https://youtu.be/KEFNlx4ZIOU?si=zBuQAyf5xLItvCDX Mamamoo Killing Voice https://youtu.be/WvkTcNQsxzc?si=dvM9RhWt5uAh2v-d Taeyeon Killing Voice https://youtu.be/5ch94AaPZRQ?si=rC0w2E8m5Ywyq9j7

https://youtu.be/pLj7XbNU3Qk?si=EtsO5ZqrYTTzfDGu Jump by BTS. You’ve been reacting mostly to their more recent music, this one is from 2014 when they were still firmly in their rap/hip-hop style that they debuted with. This one has a good example of V’s deep voice, but considering he was 18 when recording this his voice is still slightly higher here than the few rare times they’ve performed it in more recent times.

Nmixx new song highest ever charting for them right now. Blue valentine https://youtu.be/EmeW6li6bbo

Since the Idea got alot of positive Feedback in the chat I wanted to bring the idea of doing a Straykids Concert reaction in here😆 Its a festival performace so not as big of a production as their actuall concerts and more focused on the energy and fun they have on stage. https://youtu.be/PFnVaez2O3E?si=L4ULbLJkBk6yos4-

It would be awesome if you could react to some dreamcatcher. I'll especially link some live performances, but some of them also have music videos: Dreamcatcher Justice live: https://youtu.be/ZeXZ_ixi58I?si=ChYE1oQ8KTHkP-mH Dreamcatcher justice dance ear live. It's a live performance while they dance and you can hear their voices unfiltered: https://youtu.be/mmDSxJxyxTw?si=J6f8qiVQ-ixdGGoF Dreamcatcher Vision and some love, live in one take: https://youtu.be/2bLeQz_bxYs?si=-DOYaNmYdQLCSGXI Dreamcatcher Curse of the spider concert version: https://youtu.be/JUcuTIMTZq4?si=awlP2o8aHCHgIHdA Here some other recommendations: It's on a program where an artist covers the songs of popular songs of the past. Ailee - I will always love you: https://youtu.be/DOmnfmXlZCc?si=24GQw8r0hM7V2vG_ A great cover of new jeanz song gods: https://youtu.be/1PTNPXPFzgY?si=O0OG19KrxOp8nz4E Baekhyun and seo moontak singing hurt: https://youtu.be/BTOvJlD4ZPI?si=0W0O7ZfCW5wiLsoC That's probably way too many so I'll stop xD Also if you will do one of them and I had to prioritize, I would pick dreamcatcher justice on it's live.

My Straykids recommandation of the month would be Chk Chk Boom. Its one of their more recent Songs and leans a bit more into the "Pop" direction then for example Gods Menu😄. https://youtu.be/0P0aQreFs8w?si=trraTisBS1AAPOlF

Megaverse by StrayKids. This is a great song that really shows off the rapping skills of the group. The rhythm itself is relatively simple and grounded, but the bass is heavy and the synths push the intensity. this link is not the music video, but a lyric video. https://youtu.be/3aUo0tXSat4?si=Y0pM4YA_J-z6Xs70

Hellevator by Stray Kids. This has color coded lyrics, you’ll like it. Not a music video. https://youtu.be/nSGIiVo3Hc8?si=eAMDIWtfLP8GgBR5

Deep end by Felix of Stray Kids https://youtu.be/ZVHPTVzadCg?si=nukmq4meIf3zQQX6
