Attack on Titan: Season 1 Episode 4 'WHAT A CLIFFHANGER!'
Sorry about the audio issues! I know what happened and will have it all set for next time.
You should be able to hear most of what I say when I pause, the issue is when I'm talking over the video while its playing. I couldn't turn those parts up, but hopefully it doesn't distract too much from the experience.
I was thinking of reshooting it, but I really wanted to share my first impression with all of you!
Such a great episode, with a CRAZY cliff hanger! 😳

One piece is amazing but if you watch it then it will be your life for the next 5 years (1000 episode and counting). I recommend checking out just the music.
So the soundtrack in the beginning (during their 3D maneuver gear training) is called "DOA" by Aimee Blackschleger and composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. Just in case you want to check out the full song or to do a deeper analysis. For future reactions I strongly recommend to check out Attack on Titan suite by Hiroyuki Sawano, it's so good and there's so much happening musically, so much to talk about, I think you'd enjoy it. Yeah AOT is known for having cliffhangers, you might wanna consider watching 2 episodes in one go. Personally I couldn't stop even then in my first watch, I simply don't have enough patience for that. I'd enjoy your reactions either way. Can't wait for next episode. Btw I'm so happy you've noticed my comment how their government just send 20% of their population to death because of food shortage.
I noticed that Annie was the only one that wears a hoodie, which is kinda fun since she comes across as anti-social and a little scary. Very much a renegade.
One piece was one of my first animes and I LOVE IT SO MUCH it really is an amazing series. (Be warned there are over 1,000 episodes and plenty more coming) Film red the main character Uta all the songs are sung by Ado and I definitely hope you check them all out (or even the movie) one piece is an iconic anime.
I'm loving this audio issues or not I always prefer an initial reaction, thanks for not reshooting it!
🙏🔥
I think you mentioned this is your first time watching anime, am I right? Your reactions and things you notice like the sounds, tone of their voices and even Eren’s “soul patch” (btw is just how they depict shadows😄) are so interesting and funny! Please keep questioning everything, love it!
Yep first time! 🙌
Back then I just couldn’t stop watching because of those cliffhangers! Love this show, your reactions, and I can’t wait for the next episode!
Regarding one piece, I am a big fan of Ado, and this is really just my personal opinion since I know there are a lot of huge one piece fans, but I am not the biggest fan of one piece as compared to shows like Attack on Titan as I feel it has more of a Sunday morning cartoon vibe. I would recommend Violet Evergarden for an amazing orchestral score personally.
Ah interesting, got it.
If you had told me a while ago that I would ever be watching something like this and being fascinated by it, I would have said you were nuts. Of course, if it gets really gory I still may opt out.
We can cover our eyes together! Haha
Yeah, AoT has crazy cliffhangers and crazy twists. Wouldn't be a bad idea to do them in pairs, seeing as they're just 24 minutes long.
Love your reaction
Ohhhh yeah that one piece movie is so good it’s a little confusing without context but but it’s still an enjoyable watch plus yeah that singer voices the main antagonist and her ability is based on her singing so she sings a lot in the movie and it’s sooo good the way she manipulates her voice isnt like anything I’ve ever seen very out there and impressive like ADO
Little correction: Ado does the singing for Uta, but the voice acting is by Kaori Nazuka. Besides not being a VA, Ado's deep voice would have been a very odd fit for the character.
Right on time for my lunch😎
