SONG REQUESTS 10/2025:
Leave a comment with a link, and '❤️' others' comments to uptick them. Be respectful to each other. 🙏
Here we go! You all left so many amazing ideas last month, keep them coming! I will give it a couple days, and then start reacting to the songs in the comments that are getting the most 'hearts' and overall engagement from the community.
*DIVERSITY IS IMPORTANT TO ME.
I have no problem doing a few in the same style and artist, but if all the top comments are from the same music community, I might make some exceptions and react to some from another music genre, even if there are less 'hearts' on the recommendation.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you all put up! Don't forget the link.
And thank you as always for supporting me here on PATREON!
Cheers,
Tim

The Struts, they have been described as retro-fetishist rock/ glam rock
Hi Tim! Again, thank you for giving us your views, insights and professional take on SB19's videos. They are a wonderful group and I am so proud to know that people like you is willing to share your platform, highlighting their talent for others to know, learn, understand and hopefully love, as much as we, A'TIN, do. Can you also react to their Live performance video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHoTGkTknIM
Since you liked LP, how about checking out Asaf Avidan? The most unusual voice I've ever heard, and in general he's such a fascinating artist with a huge range, a multi-instrumentalist as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRVO5_K_xLk
For a futher deep dive into Vtuber check out Maid Mint Fantôme (Mint) the linked VOD is a KARAOKE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4kyR6vAu40. Also an special version of toxic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVzGItFBJLo
I'd love to see some reactions to music by Dayseeker, ive been obsessed with them for the last week or so, just a really interesting mix of styles/genres. Just a few of my favourites: Crying While You're Dancing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY9TVwgePxU The Living Dead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aghu_V44lME Pale Moonlight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k95oDnsCu_8
Hi, any plan on covering EJAE first single In Another World. Totally different than KPDH. Such an emotional rollercoaster, similar to Adele
Pasting this here cause I put it on last month's post last night cause I didn't see this one.... Gavin Dunne is an Irishman who creates music under the name Miracle of Sound. Most of his songs are inspired by video games and other pop culture. A lot of it is metal, but though I love those, I often prefer the ones where he departs from this and does something different. He's been at it for well over a decade and this year he went on tour with a full band for the first time ever and I was lucky enough to catch one of the shows. Here are some of my favourites of his: Payday (inspired by The Outer Worlds) https://youtu.be/PjtwNeX5wRA?si=l1BoIPYeDOwar3mD Liquid Nights & Disco Lights (inspired by Disco Elysium) https://youtu.be/7sAxhu04SlM?si=NCnkyrkQvonDaYqO City of Night (inspired by Cyberpunk 2077) https://youtu.be/376DUWvQroU?si=1H1T630qPIKyoUDy Deep Blue (inspired by Subnautica) https://youtu.be/dUHp7N8BVyo?si=DoUkSOwFYyHaADiV My Shooting Star (inspired by Firefly) https://youtu.be/KX_tb8-lYLQ?si=_6SrNYBLJNHEEPj3 Gráinne Mhaol, Queen of Pirates (Irish pirate metal) https://youtu.be/mzfq5BJFON0?si=cfjN59CgBy9tz3l6 I'll stop there or I'll be at it all night. I really admire this man and the sheer force of his creativity and his voice.
This is right up my alley awesome Mike thanks
Hi Tim! I'm new on your Patreon because i absolutely love your analysis and reactions and i wanted to support you better in here!! I'll be honest this is the first time i use Patreon so I'm happy to be part of it! For the recommendations i would love to see your reaction and analysis for Zhou Shen, a chinese singer that's really from another world!! His vocal range is unbelievable, I'm sure you'll have so much fun reacting to his live performances! As for which one, I'm going to separate on the style of performance! For something more fun and, i would say a little bit shocking haha i recommend "Dalabengba" a Vocaloid cover that he sung for a talent show(i think). The song tells the story of a hero who has to rescue the princess from a dragon, a little cliche i know but the thing is that the characters had names that are actually tongue twisters and Zhou Shen plays ALL of the characters including narrator, making a total of 5 different voices, really impressive!! https://youtu.be/XHedu3KcPP0?si=L54_yrhYiF5Mn0p2 As for something more mystical and calm, i would said this collaboration with Juan Diego Flórez, a wonderful peruvian tenor, would be the perfect choice! The video is from the spring festival gala of 2025 and Zhou Shen sang with Juan Diego Flórez famous song "El condor pasa" and the traditional Chinese song "Lan hua hua". A truly beautiful and breathtaking performance from two wonderful artists!! https://youtu.be/UNrQmmLBrKI?si=tX7yCcRuviUi9Av4 I reeeally really hope that you could react to any of this requests!! Not to say that October 21 is my birthday and that would be a great gift! Haha only if you want to of course!
Oo! Happy Early Birthday! 🎂
Hi Tim! This is a bit out from left field, but I think you might genuinely enjoy a certain lyrical cover of a certain video game song! It's a lyrical cover of the Pepsi Man theme; there was quite a lot of effort put into this (both in terms of all the art created for it, and the various vocal performances)- considering the nature of what it is, and how quickly it could slide into meme territory xD https://youtu.be/Ih-tWFOsv0w?si=YmFBftWgoq4r_wWa
I'd love to see you do some reactions to Benson Boone.
Hey you all! As I mentioned in the comments on one of your last videos, I will accompany your gaming journey, so I will do my part and recommend from time to time^^. First recommendation is: Aerith Singing "No Promises to Keep". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZr337zWYVY . If you do, then please consider a mild spoiler warning for the game, for those that want to play the game completely blind (but dont be shy, its out since Jan 2024, so most of the fanebase already experienced it). Have a great day!
Howdy! I really think you'd love the production of one of Ateez's recent albums if you wanted to do another album listen through. GOLDEN HOUR: Part 3 In Your Fantasy Version. I might not be the best at explaining this but Ateez usually does series for their albums all centering around a theme, or feeling. Golden Hour, to me, feels like well... golden hour. It's that moment between day and night where everything is lit beautifully. And their golden hour albums, in my opinion, explore all the different possibilities that golden hour can bring both before and after golden hour. This particular edition was released in June, and since you've only listened to Guerilla, this is a TOTAL vibe shift. The first 5 songs are group songs then after that are solo songs. Each solo song feels completely different from the rest. I have not been able to stop listening since the day it came out. This is a playlist with all of the songs: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxA687tYuMWgX7aphxa3Wn-8M4MA2ZgI1&si=sO1wjmOxqwxwBbfW
Would love a long form reaction/analysis of S-Class by Stray Kids. You mentioned their production in previous reactions and this is one of their most variable productions in sound IMO yet it all works cohesively. Both the music and the vocals, S-Class is a chaotic ride of a song. Definitely react to the music video, as it just adds to the chaos. Just don't get overwhelmed by the music production and remember to talk about their vocals, too. LOL Also, it's my duty as a Stay to repeatedly mention that they are self-produced. Three of the members make up the subunit of 3racha the production unit: Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. Bang Chan is responsible for the vast majority of their beats.
That would be a great one for a deep dive! It feels a little like 10 diffrent songs all mushed together in a way that shouldnt work but somehow does😂 Also im going to drop the link here since Tim asked for them to be added🫶🏻 https://youtu.be/JsOOis4bBFg?si=11uACwaa1aOtNPdV
Ghost - Mummy Dust! Gotta see it live. Tobias uses completely different vocals for this one. Maybe compare the record to the live for something fun and different!
I can't recommend 31 Minutos' Tiny Desk enough! They are a legendary Chilean group that originated from a kids' TV show, and they use puppets for their performances, which are really fun! https://youtu.be/UEqTIwRrWvA?si=Y_GKMwhr1_09X--K
Final Fantasy 14 (FFXIV) has an OST that is simply incredible for a game. It's one of the best parts of the game to be sure. This is a song that is used for a couple of the group raids that goes way harder than any boss fight song has a right to! It's a very heavy rock vibe and if you end up giving it a listen I hope it inspires you to check out some more from FFXIV. This one's a crowd pleaser but there's some truly beautiful songs in the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4O5CVvwgFI&list=RDI4O5CVvwgFI&start_radio=1
!!!!!! i KNEW it was going to be the pandaemonium music, lol, it's so good. i think he'd also love answers
would love to see you react to katseye they have really blown up since their second EP dropped a couple months ago. they were formed together by the labels hybe (think bts) and geffen (think olivia rodrigo) and are a global girl group who were trained using the kpop methodology. the have a lollapalooza performance you can check out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY2EQBZ_ZAA
Since you have started your journey with anime, I recommend listening to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Openings! They are so fun to listen to and watch, you would love them! This video is a compilation of the ops: https://youtu.be/o28852--bFE?si=B9-TmjIqb49FNDCB
EPICA - Unleashed (Live At The Symphonic Synergy) https://youtu.be/1PXKYeAueUI?si=T3i3MOzeg4ylUFkN
Leaving this here again, hehe. If you want to expand your repertoire even more, I recommend a singer from my country, Chile! Mon Laferte is a Chilean-Mexican national treasure, and 'Tu Falta de Querer' is a heartbreak song that I think would be fun to analyze. Her voice is powerful and dynamic, and the lyrics are hard-hitting, overall just a spectacular first performance to get to know her. https://youtu.be/5R1RGl4WQP8?si=28VIcSURcYSPcjRY
Anything from Jeremy Jordan! Here are some live performances https://youtu.be/chkOkcEFGM0?si=hP75OauIvNcXvtn- https://youtu.be/TppJMa8apkc?si=GzfAeZOFq8fXk0I4
Paramore After Laughter or their 2023 Bonnaroo performance, Hayley Williams new album EDAABP.
I know that we allready have a lot of Kpop in here but I have been dying to recommand this performace for a while🙈 Its a Cover of IUs Song Love poem done by Jongho from Ateez (on the left), Eunkwang from BTOB (middle) and Seungmin from Stray Kids (right). Its really beautyfull and gives me chills every time. https://youtu.be/5Rl67uU_oJs?si=fOOVcg-I9LsLxBmJ It was part of a competition show called Kingdom Legendary War, where big Kpop groups competed with each other. This paticular performace was a collaboration between the Main Vocalists of said 3 groups.
Oh I love that! Kingdom has some amazing performaces!!!
EXO - Overdose https://youtu.be/TI0DGvqKZTI?si=8D8snMNcxxDLgNLT More KPOP
Wardruna - Lyfjaberg (Healing Mountain); https://youtu.be/VEizKmZlUAw rythmic and soothing, incredible voice! Might be a long shot but also a Danish Treasure Island musical, made back in 1986; Lars H.U.G. - Det Sorte Tegn; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG2AVlAuE00 And finally Maria Lucia with her Live version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgKNIGBUQTc&list=RDjgKNIGBUQTc&start_radio=1
Ado just released the live version of her song KokoroToIuNaNoFukakai and it is an absolute insane vocal performance, which you hopefully will like. It is my personal favorite song whenever she sings it live. It was usually part of her encore and the very last song she sings in her concerts. Live at the K-Arena in YOKOHAMA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-UbEcmIKSc
Recently saw him in concert so it's on my mind, but Conan Gray would be cool! Asking once again for Colm McGuiness! Fantastic, versatile singer, and who does his own instrumentals as well. His original song, Now Colly, is a great showcase of his ability. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo20aMvL2oc

Pierce The Veil - King for a Day ft Kellin Quinn 👀 https://youtu.be/icXUkIfZxyg?si=jO8SsqfsIoKS5S7N
Would love to see you react to Lola Young singing ‘Spiders’ live! It’s a little more rocky than her older stuff. https://youtu.be/fqMYSu7KSKM?si=_kddBTc_MyR4Q6UA
chogakusei cover of "in the backroom" https://youtu.be/xqOj0TZ5cyQ?si=vcLnBBwAPuLnbawI
Francesca by Hozier. Saw him live last week and this genuinely felt like a moment in time. He wrote it inspired by Dante's Inferno. Dante in real life knew two people who were killed for their love so he wrote them in the book as together as two souls forever tied together https://youtu.be/K1u_hL11auM?si=JvWPUg1lr-cYxaBb
Ok so this is a bit of a Wildcard but if you could imagine to give a german artist a listen I would love to recommand AnnenMayKantereit. Its a german Indie Band where the lead singer Henning May is known for his deep voice. I think these two Songs are maybe good to get to know them a little bit😊 https://youtu.be/DraA3PUuoQc?si=2UEDrP0pJj57bNUb https://youtu.be/yJuyBHPOMQ4?si=Rk7DMFuJmQM2eTrW
They alsp have some english covers that went pretty viral. So if you would rather have something english I would recommand this one https://youtu.be/GokkdRUQ3Ts?si=L6vrThS-dRbYKSu0
Woodz - Love Me Harder https://youtu.be/HaqhQs5lBWE?si=ZUFeBrdu2SxBg6sw

This is a video of 3 member of the group Fifty Fifty, they were in a interview and that is the 14min compilation of songs they did in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXli1Z181YA . Yess Noah has such an incredible voice!
Alex Warren - Eternity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXqf3uqLkkU
Ok. So I will also leave a recomendation. That would be: - Yötön Yö (Nightless Nights) from the game Alan Wake 2 Story about it: Song is performed in finnish language by the janitor Ahti (played by finnish actor Martti Suosalo) on a local joint somewhere in the state of Washington encountered by the protagonist. This is the full song from game OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQAVUpCGM0I&list=RDfQAVUpCGM0I&start_radio=1 And that's how it looks in actual game (just to feel the climate, in game he only sings a part of it): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82tde7xIfwQ&list=RD82tde7xIfwQ&start_radio=1
Korn kicked off the Nu Metal genre that is exploding again today. Would love to see your reaction to "Freak on a Leash" - their top song from an era of music where metal artists like this could displace pop musicians to top the Top 40 charts. https://youtu.be/jRGrNDV2mKc?si=kUSaf8A8qaWKO_VH
Red velvet killing voice https://youtu.be/KEFNlx4ZIOU?si=YFTYP9Y1nPMVHMOQ ❤️
Would love for you to react to the musical Next To Normal! If not the whole show then some favorites are I am the one, I’m alive, and I miss the mountains! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yCYRq10wWcQjTxuiUJxiAocdouwp231C/view?pli=1
The whole show, please!! It makes the songs so much more impactful, and it does have a proshot available on PBS!
Lisa with Homura The first Take https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q9DWZLaY2U&list=RD4Q9DWZLaY2U&start_radio=1 from the Anime "Demon Slayer"
Hey! Just dropping this again: IU's 'Love Wins All.' It's a sweet song with a lot of slides, and she's an amazing vocalist, very atmospheric, and the music video is super nteresting. She's like the equivalent of... Korea's Most Loved Pop Princess with more meaning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JleoAppaxi0
One of my favorite Metal Bands - Unprocessed, with one of my favorite songs of theirs - Sacrifice me. Their lead Manuel is an amazing singer and one of the best guitarists ive ever seen, and the band themself are doing super technical prog metal but keeping it in service to the song itself without just going crazy on the playing, which is why i love them so much. I think you'd love them, honestly. Here's the official MV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivXDVKwzCIw And here's a video of their Singer and Lead guitarist Manuel doing a one take live video of him Singing and Playing the guitar at the same time!(this guy is honestly just so insanely talented): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3TynusIfL0

Are there any Running Man fans here? I would love to see Tim’s reaction when he hears Kim Jong Kook aka Tiger aka Sparta’s voice. Here is his killing voice video https://youtu.be/w6GphHYhFjc?si=0HI9I2AjbSveX6yc
Oh this is the same person who does the bodybuilding youtube channel 😂 I am seeing now he does a lot more than that. It's so funny to me when I stumble in backwards to a fandom I had no idea existed.
Already did it on a YT post
I'm going to throw my hat into the ring with The Dead South and their song, In Hell I'll Be In Good Company. They are a Canadian Folk-Bluegrass band with just some amazing music and vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9FzVhw8_bY
This was intriguing. I’m checking them out.
i'm DETERMINED to get you to listen to fall out boy LOL once again requesting either heaven's gate or headfirst slide into cooperstown on a bad bet, heaven's gate for post-hiatus, headfirst slide for pre-hiatus :) https://youtu.be/Ztos1mhVx78?si=cYI_KL4eAjHKivWU < Heaven's Gate https://youtu.be/silxVNCDFpQ?si=tLNOqBweOmsjEFOI < Headfirst Slide
Headfirst Slide for sure!!
Repo! The Genetic Opera. I'll give you one of the songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4w_nIRZBlos Zydrate Anatomy. I do recommend the film version of the songs, because the soundtrack version leaves out a few bits here and there.
Creepy production but great for the right audience. surgery. SURGERY.
Another song from Bo Burnham's Inside Content + Comedy— I couldn't find a good video of it on YouTube as officially there is just a still imaged video for both released and most of Inside is best experienced with the visuals (and the context of it being the 2020/2021 era) BUT the timestamp on Netflix from the special is right at about 0:45 for Content and 4:00 for Comedy. I list these together because Content is very, very short and really just serves as an opener for the special and Comedy is the next song and my official request! Some of the other songs are available with the original video on YouTube but I think Comedy is a good place to start, especially since its towards the start of the set! Its a personal preference on my end, but I'm a stickler for going roughly in order (at least when it comes to first and last songs, the middle doesn't matter so much) just because I feel like they help set the appropriate tones accordingly. I did see that someone else recommended stuff from Inside, the only reason I made a separate comment is because the song in particular is different and I didn't want to comment under their post going "yes, but actually this song instead ☝️😌" If there's a different way you'd like us to go about a same artist/album but different song suggestion just let me know so I can keep that in mind going forward! I didn't want to comment under them and snub their suggestion at all, but I dont want to clog up your comments with similar suggestions either. Sorry about that!
I agree about wanting Tim to experience Inside in order. For selfish reasons I would go so far as to suggest watching the entire thing at once 😂 The experience was clearly crafted to be cohesive since the songs really build up the emotion as they go - there are also what I think are called musical motifs introduced by both Content and Comedy that are reused in later songs that hit so good.
(Copy pasted from a previous suggestion post, I did see you discussed Alex's technique a bit and covered him as Fizz as well from watching the show) Would love to see you react to The Whole Being Dead Thing by Alex Brightman from Beetlejuice the musical! His voice is one you've already come across and will again in your Helluva/Hazbin journey! He voices Fizzaroli the jester from Helluva (from Loo Loo Land and House of Asmodeus) and he plays two characters from Hazbin, Sir Pentious (I am not sure you've seen him in the reactions you've already done) and Adam from Hell is Forever! Live performance from the post quarantine revival of the show in 2022: https://youtu.be/sWtbpEB27UE?si=Cfcqp2xKeAP-uDoP Or Lyric video of original recording: https://youtu.be/41JlsbPSHto?si=wcJ5FAvQeZYFKJ1C They also did a special performance at the Tony's, some of the lyrics are different to fit the event but if you were interested here is this as well as a little bonus: https://youtu.be/b2jgBRDPWOA?si=y-8Qsh8QwtsxuURm
I have two songs that I have in mind One is Neath the Grove is a Heart by Yaelokre - https://youtu.be/eJSum8E3BtI?si=pxd-zxwFJa-SHFJr. I think the song is very fun to listen to; I really like the Celtic and old folk vibe it has going for it, and I think the main groove is very good and engaging despite the more mellow timing of it. The Other song that I think would be fun to have you react to is Duvet by Boa a real classic anime opening, but I think its also a fantastic on its own. It has a a folk rock vibe too it with a very unique vocal style from the main artist. https://youtu.be/Uoox9fpmDP0?si=3lBhZP3ivNYsTJTl . I could recommend some other songs; but I think keeping it too two is best for me(mainly cause I have no idea how to properly space paragraphs in Patron lol.
“Monster” by YOASOBI - Song by a J-POP duo that was only formed in 2019 but has had massive success, a pretty unique and sly yet uplifting track that was used in the opening of the second season of beastars: https://youtu.be/dy90tA3TT1c?si=i9alFyk1vscrJRpn
Yesssss. This song was my top song on YouTube music last year.
The Attack on Titan Suite, a project done by the composer of many of the attack on titan songs, hes also the one playing the Piano in this. Its a longer video but hope thats okay. Its a suite of some of that music from the soundtrack of the show, would love to see your reaction to the live performances here. Hiroyuki Sawano / Project【emU】 “Attack on Titan” suite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6Fl1Xl1ogg
Faouzia cover for Grenade Bruno Mars or Faouzia cover love on the brain Rihanna
I love “Grenade” because of the passion and she’s at the piano.
I have requested this one every occasion I got. 😉 The Gathering - Travel - Live at Doornroosje 25 yr anniversary. Anneke van Giersbergen in rare form. AKA The Godmother of Female Fronted Metal, AKA Devin Townsend's Metal Tinkerbell. https://youtu.be/Y46Lft_BZxo?si=mICqsf7u4E-0WrN1

#5 is insane!!!
Love seeing all the recommendations. Might have to check some of these out myself lol. Anyway... Here's my rec: Mamamoo - "Where Are We Now?" (from "it's live") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIr3Y4zEOoU Or if you want a more sampling of their discography, they did a "Killing Voice" performance four years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvkTcNQsxzc The "Killing Voice" performance is 15 minutes, so it's not as long as some others, but it includes either nine or 10 songs.
The Killing voice is such a good idea
I'd be really curious to hear your thoughts on what it means to be singing while dancing. Nmixx sometimes upload "stage practices" where they film themselves in their practice room doing their full (quite demanding) dance performances while still singing live Here's them doing High Horse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7XqQJeHBPk
I'll talk about this in the new vocal course!
ok guess I'll join in with a few End of a Life by Calliope Mori (a vtuber who has broken into the billboard top 100) She originally felt this song was to personal and no one would like it. It became the first song of hers to hit 10mil views https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXB26PzV31k&pp=ygUbZW5kIG9mIGEgbGlmZSBtb3JpIGNhbGxpb3Bl Mint Fantome cover of Snake Eater from Metal Gear Solid https://youtu.be/czHma696Guo
Bo Burnham please 🙏 These two songs in particular but anything from the album INSIDE is 🔥🔥🔥 https://youtu.be/1Rx_p3NW7gQ?si=df1SK930P8p9wsEx https://youtu.be/rYy0o-J0x20?si=9FlWvxzXk24egRs8
I can't remember if we checked this out during a stream but Anoana by Heilung is very different and super cool. They've been called ritualistic folk and amplified history. Anoana is shorter than a lot of their stuff so a pretty good entry point. This is the OMV but live is amazing too. https://youtu.be/SVbc_Fwbt50?si=AK4AHQ7NX7yz1JL0
Postmodern Jukebox has tons of great songs and to see them live is like going to a very big, wild party. I had a difficult time picking a song, so I went with a Whitney Houston cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2ls_NGP2jY&list=PLJZH8sevmMq6Ao3BUvP3FDOq1CrUxP9-r&index=46
I love Amigo the Devil, a Dark Folk singer. A good place to start might be Another Man's Grave https://youtu.be/4RukZXYTISQ?si=AluK6ItMCnoL27aD
I just listened to "Murder At The Bingo Hall" Excuse me while I fall into this rabbit hole....wheeeee....
Lara Fabian & Johnny Hallyday - Requiem pour un fou https://youtu.be/zR1rkt_0biA?si=vtE-15hPzauFPAPz
I recommend checking out Miracle of Sound. They do songs in many genres and styles that are inspired from popular culture. They did the original Valhalla Calling viking dark folk song that went viral few years ago. [https://youtu.be/jxptIpCYAJA?si=_EiljJS2cBsYpxHP] Some of my other highlights from them are: Purest Gold [https://youtu.be/KQrEfkoTkpA?si=oiEzXBGP4hRY7v7z] - A symphonic metal song inspired by the dark fantasy game Elden Ring. Perfect [https://youtu.be/UTfGeHal9hA?si=waGCh8DVEhy1t16q] - Orchestral flavoured song inspired by Netflix show Arcane. Upside Down [https://youtu.be/zGCxBsbMeQU?si=1Ge6DLEzT08gAN5I] - A synthwave-flavoured song inspired by Netflix show Stranger Things.
Oh, didn't see this before I made my comment. We picked different songs, though. Your picks are also great. Regardless of which song, I'd love to hear Tim's analysis of Gav's voice.
TXT (Tomorrow X Together) - Nine and Three Quarters (Run Away) https://youtu.be/6yWPfUz0z94?si=Ny1qRP_JbWPhRzOz TXT is the sibling group of BTS, and now of CORTIS — they were the first group debuted by BigHit/HYBE after BTS, and I’m shocked no one has mentioned them yet. There are only 5 of them, and just like BTS, they’re a group of all-rounders. Run Away is one of their earlier songs, so it feels like a good jumping off point (since I genuinely think you may find them as vocally interesting as BTS).
Also, here’s a decent (if a little silly) intro video for them! https://youtu.be/i1DmLCo-6qk?si=vi8wtQjGCWCRfuRo (The only “better” one I saw had an AI voice that was mispronouncing their names). Important: They definitely get called by their group’s initials (TXT), but if you say the whole name, it’s Tomorrow BY Together (not X). :D
My favorite beatbox duo Jairo! https://youtu.be/66bFqTcRhlA?si=OtkBoNcQgwoTHACD
No idea if it was allready Suggestion but I would love Maniac from Straykids😃https://youtu.be/OvioeS1ZZ7o?si=je3VrbDaXW_JnBDq
Mrs. GREEN APPLE - A Priori (LIVE) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atJbRXERvH8
High energy and excellent stage design! Plus, I'm a sucker for key changes. ;D I ended up looking for more concert footage to watch...so good!
BTS - Your Eyes Tell, Film Out, Crystal Snow, Zero O'clock, Dimple, Pied Piper (ALL LIVE) I really can't pick because all BTS Songs are amazing. I wouldn't mind a long video of you reacting to more than 1 song of BTS
I'd suggest Tool. Either "Right in Two" or "The Grudge" for great vocal performances
The Stupendium (they/them) is a nerdcore rapper that primarily makes high concept music videos about games with not-so-subtle wider reaching themes. I recommend 3 possible entry points: 1- Adequate Wordsmith https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6Dm5trEo9ow&pp=ygUSYWRlcXVhdGUgd29yZHNtaXRo A self-introduction. Pure display of skills : rapping, singing, video production. 2- The Production Line https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HYdOZOdjXnI&pp=ygUTdGhlIHByb2R1Y3Rpb24gbGluZQ%3D%3D A worker's anthem within a song about Lethal Company. In collaboration with Dan Bull. Genuinely interesting vocals : harmonies, lyrics that sound like vocables, rap 3- Ad Infinitum https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d8RkcUiCxuE&pp=ygUMYWQgaW5maW5pdHVt Off the deep end. A Deltarune rap that answers the question "if a video game boss attacked you with music, what would it sound like". Technically impressive, disorienting, fast flow.
I didn't know The Stupendium was non-binary! Very cool. I love their song The Fine Print, about The Outer Worlds. :)
Trying again for “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. https://youtu.be/U8toUHjfE0E?si=X_72ofB2rrhDYGEv They start playing at 1:20. It’s a simple song from the movie “Once” and is a great vocal performance by both of them.
Metal -- Beyond the Black -- Shine and Shade. https://youtu.be/DDCAFR4rIk8?si=GaRForcd69PjUpKi

Second rec: Bang Chan "Railway" - https://youtu.be/27rdSyt-Qt8?si=WldId3AlkIVnmDXs This one is a solo song from Bang Chan and is VERY Halloween with some vampire/zombie imagery. Warning: there are some... goopy, crunchy effects here. It's a little gross with a horror theme, if anyone is sensitive to that. The vocals in this one are nice for me but its more for the story that I recommend it. It's very interesting from a story perspective - when you combine it with the live performances it creates a sort of loop (the live performance starts where the video ends, and vice versa), which is relevant to what the lyrics are saying. I think this one is also entirely in English so a bit easier to understand the meaning for those of us who don't speak Korean. Edit: I forgot the joke explanation, that Railway "is about trains"
https://youtu.be/SMonb2lj5RE?si=JkmFes3VVqS-Qq02 I took German back in high school, don’t remember much anymore, but one assignment my teacher would have us do is translate songs because he believed music to be on of the fastest ways to learn a language. This song Leb Deine Traume by Luxuslarm was one of them. The band name translates roughly into luxury noise, and the band used to only actively make music half the year and the other half would be spent teaching music at their own school
I've really been enjoying "Christopher After Dark" - Bang Chan's more provocative songs. I have two recs for October. One of these I really like for the vocals and BOTH are very appropriate for Halloween. I'll post them in separate posts to make it easier for people to heart the one they want: Stray Kids "ESCAPE (Bang Chan & Hyunjin) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvCmsOWPwKA This one is described by the group as a sequel, or extension of Red Lights. The vocals are so lovely and Bang Chan does something surprising with his voice. There are a few very clear references to the Red Lights video. The video itself is so cinematic, it feels like the trailer for a movie and I love watching these boys act together. Some references to werewolves / were-beasts during the full moon, to make it appropriate for October.
HAECHAN - CRZY (title track MV) And TASTE which is his album, is a masterpiece!! He is a part of a group called NCT and subunit NCT U but this is his solo debut album. It’s honestly incredible and he’s only 25 years old. YouTube link for CRZY MV https://youtu.be/pqMCgfnBx74?si=DFC2b_ifaXs05Oiq (the album TASTE would be wherever you listen to music I guess)
Never - Neurosama x Evil: https://youtu.be/CKCgoEGiUEg?si=5PaHxyhikzqba-z0 Life - Neurosama: https://youtu.be/MDc1mjrIsPM?si=zwoKqJDHV9mHGqeP
Biggering - A song which would’ve appeared in the 2012 movie “The Lorax” but was cut for being too dark and blunt, later being replaced with the much lighter “how bad can i be”. Ironic that a song critiquing corporate greed was removed due to that very thing: https://youtu.be/cpyuolKoeAY?si=yzqSijtKPVL6vuAH (Also, they’re not credited in the description but the singers are Gabriel Mann and Randy Crenshaw)
Okay, I’m taking your recc even though you didn’t make it for me, lol.
i’d also love to see you react to some bad bunny if you haven’t! his vocals are amazing in this song! (happy bad bunny super bowl ‘26 to those who celebrate 🎉) TURiSTA- https://youtu.be/H7-7TXXnw8I?si=d0p2mF0BKW-qu_9H

Changgwi by Ahn Ye Eun if you wanna hear a kinda folky korean horror sound but also sooo good technique wise https://youtu.be/zcyn9HZZ6vs?si=X4B_L4levTP2ox96 There’s also a super amazing cover by this really young girl live on a singing contest of this same song: https://youtu.be/nnzAvB-bEWU?si=3WRjpRY3UWEc9qgc
I am going to recommend Indonesia's sorta version of the Warning. Meet Voice of Baceprot (bah-chay-prot) https://youtu.be/K7cCiMLHymE?si=z7vN-HV3yiA6MtQL
I'd love to hear what you think of this performance from the Six tiny desk concert https://youtu.be/vkzlU2fDLs8?t=231
I recommend looking at Riot/League of Legends's music. Riot is the company that owns Arcane (which you've reacted to before). Overwatch tried to copy League (and failed) with their own group and Le Sserafim. K/DA - POP/STARS - https://youtu.be/UOxkGD8qRB4 K/DA is their fictional KPOP group (similar to Gorillaz) using champions from League. They partner with real artists Madison Beer, (G)I-DLE, and Jaira Burns. True Damage - GIANTS - https://youtu.be/sVZpHFXcFJw True Damage is their fictional hiphop/rap group using champions from League. They partner with real artists Becky G, Keke Palmer, SOYEON, DUCKWRTH, and Thutmose. HEARTSTEEL - PARANOIA - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDErQ1KTzaI True Damage is their fictional boyband group using champions from League. They partner with real artists BAEKHYUN, tobi lou, ØZI, and Cal Scruby. Sherly Lee Ralph - Blood Sweat and Tears - https://youtu.be/rhTZTy1rZhw This song was about Ambessa (from Arcane) when it was announced that she would be put into the game. Awaken https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF5Ddo9JdpY
I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT PENTAKILL! This is their fictional metal group using champions from League! https://youtu.be/5-mT9D4fdgQ
Hiroyuki Sawano project emu😎 continue the aot streak
Herald of Darkness - Old Gods of Asgard. Its a song from a game called Alan Wake II. https://youtu.be/uxs_HYw_mLk?si=3oQBk7dxAOaHrTlr
I would love to get more Straykids especially since you managed to avoid their biggest songs so far😂 You should definatly do a reaction to Gods Menu thats a skz fundamental. I also think you would enjoy Maniac, Thunderous, Sclass and Bleep. They are all songs that are really intresting production wise so I think you could have fun with the reaction😊🫶🏻
I think Tim has requested video links in the request posts. Not to steal your thunder, but I'll drop God's Menu here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQTlCHxyuu8

https://youtu.be/pnrmW_Man7I?si=egBBRkcu-rzhUs02 Serious by FTISLAND. They’re an amazing Korean rock group that have been active for 18 years. There have been a few member changes in that time and some have left due to scandals, one of them being very bad that also involved several other prominent Korean celebrities. However, the main draw to the band is the vocals of lead singer Lee Hong-gi. He is incredible

Tim, I really like your reactions but I've noticed that no one else has spoken about something I've picked up on: Dimash's hands. Watch his hands and you'll notice that every time he's about to change vocal colour/tone he changes the hand he's using to hold the mic. At one point, in the Story of One Sky (Almaty concert footage) he's embracing the Mic in both hands almost in a prayer pose as he moves vocally between colours/tones. It's during the vocal runs/indigenous intonnations portion of the song. I was wondering about your thoughts on that?
I’d like to recommend “Don’t Fence Me In” by Dan Wesley & Tori Holub. It was the #1 Country song for 3 weeks on the Hot Disc chart in Europe, during the Summer. Dan is from the UK, Tori is from Minneapolis. Of note; there is no pitch correction and real instruments. Credits are at the end of the video. https://youtu.be/dAgnttme1DA?si=ZCwug8rI-ykpmypJ Based on the 1944 song by Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters Written by Cole Porter & Robert Fletcher for a 1934 movie that was never made.
US country acapella group HomeFree sings iconic 1981 Stan Rogers folk song “Northwest Passage” with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag sea shanty master Seán Dagher. The choruses are SO lovely https://youtu.be/OdIiDu_8IP0 Diverse enough ? It’s a recent release. HomeFree are live-streaming the whole concert with The Longest Johns and guest Seán Dagher on Sunday.
That first voice - I don't think I've ever heard that deep of a bass!!! I was startled for a moment. lol And yes, the choruses are mad crazy awesome!

This is the first time I am suggesting something, and since it isn't a performance or a music video, I am not sure if it I can even suggest it. But because it involves the process of album recording for Stray Kids and you can see them directing the recording and giving tips to one another about how to sing certain parts in songs or other similar things and just basically see the process and how they do it as they are always very involved in it. This is a small compilation of those moments, with a lighthearted side because it also includes funny moments during the process and how they do it. If it isn't possible or not the type of video to suggest here, I will delete the comment. I am not sure, so do tell me if I can't suggest it. (English isn't my first language so apologies if something didn't make sense). https://youtu.be/BkZrKyjBeIk?si=Gd1-LewR_f1KU97F
I love that Idea!!!! There are a lot of these btw😊. The one is Jsg2140s comment is more focused on funny moments but there are also some from the offical Stray Kids account that show a bit more of the actuall work process. I will put a link as an example🫶🏻https://youtu.be/YMb3EHXjs50?si=Gzb-L4LBnzsFJVc5

Please react to the European anthem for music lovers: “Music" by John Miles https://youtu.be/3Nz7gtCArOw?si=paKS4wmegWNEFat7 This masterpiece was created by John in 1976. This perf is from 2001. I love BUCK-TICK 🥹Rip Atsushi Sakurai
This is a BTS cover by a singer, Song So Hee, who is a traditional korean folk singer so she's using centuries old singing techniques and sounds integrated into a modern song. Thought it'd be cool as its k-pop related (being a BTS song) but also interesting for you as a vocal instructor bc the sounds and techniques she's implementing sound like nothing else outside of korea https://youtu.be/ExWa5_Vmsx4?si=LioHzfTw_OQxfZYa
