Attack on Titan Season 1 Ep.3

"His rage..All he has is his rage" - Tim. All of us watching this again, hearing him say this about Eren. o-o

I watched AOT like more than ten years ago, it's been so fun watching you react and reminiscing on the start of it all! I did both the EN and JP versions and there really are going to be people who will prefer one over the other but I genuinely cannot deny the sheer magnificence of the Japanese voice actors with the emotion they bring. I cannot wait for you to get to Ep 9!!!

The Japanese is good, but you're missing out on some AMAZING voice actors in the English dub version

Just wanted to say I appreciate your thoughts and input; please don't feel like you're interrupting the flow of the show. I think the best part of this type of reaction content is having that window into what you're thinking about or appreciating. I think the best way to put it is: I've already seen the show, but I haven't seen you see the show. Your small comments on the music or vocal performance gave a lot of context on what you were thinking about or noticing. I also wanted to say that music is a big part of anime for me (especially in orchestral scores for shows like Frieren and Violet Evergarden), so hearing your thoughts about the score is great too. Thanks a lot!

I love hearing the things you find cool because some of the think you comment on that you like is just the top of the iceberg. The cinematography, the angles, everything about the animation was like nothing before when it came out. And the music every single but if music in the show is beyond incredible! Sometimes Manga can be an adaptation of a light novel, and said manga can then be adapted into an anime. Not every anime is an adaptation of a manga and not every manga is an adaptation of a light novel. In this case the anime is the adaptation of the manga. Sometimes an anime can deviate from the manga and there is a little bit of that in AoT but I'm pretty sure they refocus the story. It's been a long time since I read and watched it.

The 3D maneuvering gear is one of my favourite things in this show, they use also a gas to move forward. Btw, if you wanna pause and read, you have simply wait few seconds and the title will go away

So, a couple notes on some characters: Mikasa is the only Asian character in the the show, that's why the other characters think she looks strange. She's also the only one with a Japanese name. No point in speculating how and why yet. Sasha (and another one that will appear later) is a comic relief character. She is a fleshed out character, but her role is also to relieve the tension from an otherwise very tense show. Oh and like a lot of anime it's an adaptation of a manga.

Yeah it’s called 3D maneuvering gear cause they use pressurized gas to propel the user in any direction

Waking up to this is great😎
