Besides, I also suggested before to make a second female canadian character from Quebec and she is a personal friend of Bella during her university years and met her when she traveled to Montreal to learn french in a french simister and she made not just learn the language to Bella, but also introduces the distinct, unique québécois culture to her, which emphasize more the two solitudes in Canada colliding with each others. Chloé (a proposed name for the québécois character) was even more happy when Bella came back along with Kendra and it was a perfect opportunity for Bella and Chloé to introduce the culture, language along with the "funny" expressions and insults to their new american friend!
My québécois friend on Discord actually has the idea for a québécois character too. I'll take some inspo from you and blend it into his idea, such as that her current residence is Montreal.
