Dev Log Ep4 Week 0: We're Back Baby!
Howdyduken fight fans, we're back with a fresh installment of "Indie Dev Losing Their Mind." This season promises to bring you weekly slices of pure stupidity. The only place you can witness more ramblings from a madman is the messages scrawled on the walls of your local public restroom.
So Bat, what have you been up to? Did you rest?
Wow, that's a little personal, don't you think? I ain't just gonna tell you what I've been doing since the update launched. This isn't a vlog channel.
Okay, I'll tell you. Only because you didn't seem to really care, and I want the validation.
Since the update dropped, I spent about two minutes staring at the ground and let out a single tear as I mourned the loss of what remained of my love life and mental integrity. Then I did what all healthy people do. I stuffed those feelings deep down and got straight back to work.
The reason this is Week 0 is because I am not fully into the render pipeline yet, but that starts today.
I have written about 65-70% of Episode 4 already, and boy howdy is it big, thick, and creamy like He-Man's thighs. There is some really ambitious stuff in here and, honestly, I haven't fully figured out how I am going to pull it off yet, but that's Future Bat's problem.
The episode is fully planned out, beat for beat, and I cannot wait to get stuck into bringing some of these scenes to life.
I just want to say thank you to everyone who played and enjoyed Episode 3. Also, thank you to those of you who didn't enjoy it because we are an equal opportunity appreciation society around here.
