Dev-log #14 - Character Creator and the Female Player - 22/11/2025

It's time for our weekly devlog: every Saturday at 12:00 CEST I bring you the latest from behind the scenes: updates, fixes, new features, and a few visual treats.
Today I'm sharing with you some progress with the Character Creator implementation! Some character configuration options and then a little gameplay of the character actually in the game.
We've reached a big milestone here - the character customization system is now in place and functional. Before this, you were stuck with a fixed character. Now you can customize your character before jumping into the world, and we're currently refining how the customized character behaves and looks in the actual map.
In the video you'll see the character creator interface with the customization options, and then the customized character running around in a test map. The system handles the transition from creator to gameplay pretty smoothly now, which took some work to get right.
We're still polishing things like making sure all the customization options display correctly during gameplay, and tweaking some of the character controller settings. But the core system is there and working.
