Lightside Sith 034
Dropping Krrsantan's bowcaster from his inventory, Kane gave the unflappable Wookiee a good surprise, then deposited a giant sword made of the bone of some creature. The Darkside clung to the bone, indicating the beast had not been any ordinary prey.
“A warrior should always have his armaments. Come now, I have two more companions; a wet behind the ears Jedi, and another bounty hunter like you. Perhaps you've heard of him, his name is Durge.” Kane introduced.
“Auwn!” Krrsantan growled, indicating his acknowledgement.
Although Kane didn't speak Wookiee, he could sense intentions through the Force, and understood the gist of what he was trying to communicate. That being said, considering how OP his System was when it came to learning things, he figured he'd have to grab a protocol droid along the way. Understanding Wookiee-and other alien languages-would only benefit him in his diplomatic endeavors.
“Before we can enact your revenge, however, I have one last thing to take care of.” Kane said, leaving the cell.
Having sensed them ahead of time, he noticed a large crowd of former prisoners gathering around a pretty young woman. A body double for Padmé, this girl acted as both a guard and spy for the former Queen. Armed with the weapons of the deceased gangsters, they warily tensed up at his approach, seemingly looking at the handmaiden as if she were their leader.
Interesting.
“Lord Renstar, thank you for this unexpected rescue, my name is Dormé. Although I look and sound similar to her, please do not mistake me for Padmé Amidala, I am merely a handmaiden, but I understand you are a gracious man with a heart yearning for peace. If you would, could you please escort us to the Naboo embassy? You would have our ever lasting gratitude.” The young woman, Dormé, pleaded.
Standing amongst her, the majority of slaves nodded along. Most of them were either extremely beautiful people, among which were several children, making Kane's stomach churn. There were also some muscular laborers, or less attractive technically savvy individuals such as slicers & engineers. When Kane's eyes fell upon the more intellectually inclined individuals, his eyes lit up as if he had found a great treasure.
Perhaps misunderstanding his ‘lewd’ gaze, many of the would-be slaves shivered, and took a step back.
“Renstar.” Ferus said from the side, also pleading their case.
“But of course, Lady Dormé, we came to this venue with a mind to rescue some innocent, however, we must discuss the payment of this transaction. Afterall, while I am a Just man, my services do not come for free.” Kane replied with a devilish smirk as he began to hatch an idea.
“...if it's credits you want, I have some at the embassy.” Damé slowly got out. Although she wasn't surprised by this exchange, a small part of her wilted, as she truly hoped the image of Renstar that her best friend, Padmé, had painted of him was true. Alas.
“Keep your credits to yourself. What I desire is a much more tangible reward. I want you-” Kane said in a husky tone, taking an aggressive step into her personal space.
“O-oh! This, this is so sudden! I didn't know you, I mean, we girls thought and fantasized a few times after watching your training through a secret recording, but never did we truly imagine you had that kind of interest in the Senator. B-but if it's with you, I can consider-” Damé got out, blushing madly, staring repeatedly where Kane's robe was hiding a thick set of well toned muscles.
“-You…to give me a kiss. Hm?” Kane finished speaking at the same time the handmaiden let loose with a wave of gossip, and his mind slowed down like a hamster tiring on its wheel.
“Ah!” Damé exclaimed cutely in embarrassment, then, quick as can be, leaned forward to kiss him on the cheek, but in her haste, she tripped, and kissed him on the lips.
Kane-thinking fast-barely got his communicator out to snap a selfie. This picture would be great for emotionally blackmailing Skywalker later.
With that interlude out of the way, Kane gave the soft-yet surprisingly firm woman a deep hug-then agreed to her request with a charming smile.
“Alright, we'll do it, but first, my friends and I are wiping this gang of scum out, so please, wait for us.” Kane bowed, then turned to depart.
“We shall await your return, Lord Renstar.” Damé, once more under control of her emotions, acted the part of a professional.
“Stay and protect them, Ferus, myself, Krrsantan, and Durge should be more than enough.” Kane said, giving the tired, mentally scarred teen an out.
“Thank you, but no. I vowed to myself when I agreed to follow you that I would see things to the end. Although I disagree with total annihilation, that doesn't mean I am blind to the evils of the world. I shall accompany you.” Ferus said in a determined tone.
“Far be it from me to discourage a determined Jedi. Very well, you are welcome to join us. Now let's go crack some skulls, shall we?” Kane nodded, then gestured towards the exit of the back rooms towards the upper floors.
Typing into his communicator, he was synced to the venue's systems, and began to blast some club music to set the tone. All around them were HoloAds, neon signs, and various machines one might find in a casino. The area had mostly been cleared out of civilians, but there were a few brave ones who were robbing as many creds as could fit in their pockets.
Paying no mind to them, he simply followed the trail of bodies, and the sound of blasterfire.
Turning a corner, they ambushed a dozen Weequay trading potshots with their former allies. One noticed him, and raised his gun, only to fold like a lawn chair once Kane's lightsaber bisected him at the waist.
Moving like a phantom, Kane subdued another gangster with [Induce Pain], and deflected a stray Trandoshan bolt into the back of one more.
Meanwhile, Krrsantan picked a terrified gangster up, and tossed him at three others with one arm, knocking them over. Then, with the other hand, he unloaded a fully charged bowcaster shot into the thick clump of flailing limbs. Pink mist and chunks of flesh exploded outward as the green blast hit them. The Wookiee-quicker than a being his size should move-unhooked three throwing knives from his chest holster, stabbing three men dead.
At the same time, a grim, pale-faced Ferus stabbed one man, deflected several blasts, and shoved another out a nearby window making him fall to his death.
The brutal ambush ended in less than 30 seconds, and they were already moving on to the Trandoshans across the hall.
Kane, using [Hide Presence] skulked wide to the left, whilst the Wookiee tossed a smoke grenade that released an ink-black, toxic substance causing the enemy to violently cough. Ferus for his part, copied what he had done in the past, and pulled down several light fixtures, chandeliers, tv screens, and other objects from the ceiling, his Niman training teaching him to incorporate the Force into his attacks.
By the time Kane had circled around to finish of a pair of stragglers, the rest had already been smooshed by falling objects, or cut in half by Krrsantan's brutal slab of bone shaped like a sword. Blood coated the dark furred coat of the Wookiee, and he nearly lunged at Kane, such was his battlelust. However, a subtle wave of the hand & [Mind Trick] cleared up his companion's berserker state.
“Forward. Most of the fighting has ended, but the area up ahead is about to reach its crescendo, we do not want to miss the climax.” Kane urged, then took the lead.
Storming past broken gambling machines, and carpets running red with blood, they ascended several more floors, killing their way up the stairs as they climbed. Unfortunately, the elevators had been blown to hell and back, and once again, Kane found his mortal enemy: stairs.
A Trandoshan with a heavy machine gun emplacement suddenly sprayed down the staircase Kane was ascending, forcing him to juke back around the corner. Hot red blaster bolts left black smoking marks on the once pristine casino's walls, marring some painting of a lecherous Human fucking a Twi'lek.
When he heard that unmistakable thumping noise, Kane backpeddled even faster. Seconds later, the top of the steps exploded thanks to a grenade launcher.
‘Sunovabitch! Just die already!’
Pulling upon his rage, he reached out his senses, and felt the position of everyone in the room above. It was as if he had tossed a drone in there, and had it print a 3D image of all their positions.
He turned to his companions, and laid out a brief plan.
“Alright, I'll be waiting on you.” Ferus nodded along.
“Hrggg!” Krrsantan disagreed, then, jumping up, tore open a nearby vent, and wormed his giant shaggy ass inside.
Surprisingly, the big ball of fur was entirely silent as he advanced deeper inside. Kane could only watch on in respect. A hunter of the Shadowlands on Kashyyyk was a true beast amongst beasts!
“Very well, when you hear the screams, you'll know when to advance.” Kane said, nodding at Ferus.
Then, departing downstairs, he looked up at the 40ft+ ceiling above him. Annoyingly, there were no more chandeliers for him to use, but that wouldn't be a big deal.
Jumping up about 20ft with his enhanced Sith Lord (low) abilities, Kane then performed the highly illegal, ultimate technique: [Double Jump].
Scaling the necessary height, his lightsaber cut a hole precisely where the heavy machine gunner was camped out. Suddenly falling through the floor, the Trandoshan let out a hiss of surprise as he was cut down mid-air.
Kane, however, did something even more outrageous…and initiated a triple jump!
Springing upward into the next level, he entered a large dining room full of tables & an all you can eat buffet. Surprising the large contingent of foes, he attacked with the long sweeping skills of Shii-Cho. The ‘most basic’ Form was coming in clutch against this swarm of enemies, allowing him to cut down five lives as if they were grass.
Seconds later, Krrsantan burst down from the ceiling out of an air vent. When he landed, he crushed a pair of skulls with his tree-trunk legs, exploding blood and gore every which way. Bowcaster set to spread, he swept a horizontal path of tiny green bolts across the room, dropping three more dead, and forcing the rest into cover.
Lastly, Ferus emerged from the steps, flanking those aliens who had turned to deal with the Wookiee & Sith. His green lightsaber stabbed into backs, and deflected bolts back into foreheads. The Darkside once more clung to him. Yet it wasn't quite as pervasive, as he had been thinking Kane's words over, and was trying to control himself whilst also drawing upon this well spring of power.
Clearing another floor, they climbed some more before reaching the very top. There, they came across dozens of Weequay & Trandoshans lying to the side, dead. And trading blows were the heavily armored Durge, and the Trandoshan leader.
The lizard-man was enormous, even for a Trandoshan. One side of his face was a ruin of old scar tissue surrounding a glowing red cybernetic eye, whilst his mechanical right arm was grotesquely oversized, ending in a durasteel hand large enough to close around a man’s torso.
“You’ve cost me everything.” The gangster hissed.
Durge discarded his empty blaster, and gestured with his vambrace's blades, inviting a fight.
The Trandoshan vaulted over a railing, his landing was so heavy, it cracked the marble flooring. Without missing a beat, he swiped backward with his heavy metal claw.
Durge ducked, and the blow demolished a sabacc table behind him. Before the gangster could recover, Durge drove a fist into his ribs, then another into his throat.
The Trandoshan barely staggered as his entire skeleton & integumentary system had been reinforced with robotics & synthflesh. His metal hand snapped shut around Durge’s midsection, and squeezed. Blood and fluids leaked from the famed bounty hunter, whilst the Trandoshan looked on with pleasure.
“Isss thisss all the famous immortal amounts to?! Once news of your death spreadss, the Red Eclipse shall be-”
Durge exploded out of his armor, a whole host of worms spread outward, and down the Trandoshan’s throat. Seconds later, the scaled alien exploded outward in a shower of gore.
Like something out of a horror movie, the intestine-looking sinew writhed about, and slipped into the large silver armor like a parasite puppeting a meat suit.
Durge looked at them stoically, but his signature in the Force expressed intense joy. Truly, he was a deranged killer.
The big Wookiee took several heavy steps forward, looking like he wanted to take a crack at the Gen'dai.
“Durge, Krrsantan. Krrsantan, Durge. There will be plenty of time to murder one another after we have parted ways, but so long as you remain under the auspices of Team Renstar, I must insist you play nice.” Kane said in a perfectly reasonable, mild mannered, 100% unthreatening tone.
“Amusing as always, Renstar.” Durge slow clapped.
Krrsantan softly growled, turning his head away.
Kane, meanwhile, bowed.
“Now then, gentlemen, let us depart. We have a job to do.”

great fic! can’t wait for more! waiting for him to learn more sorcery and mechu deru!
Hey, you should consider posting at least the first chapter on QQ. The concept is different from Jedi Insurgence since the MC slowly turns into the bad guy, which is already a hook, and maybe people will throw some ideas your way for the story.
I imagine the blade music playing
