Update - 08/28 wow that's a funy dogy

Hello everyone, Earndil here again with the bi-weekly update. As you may have noticed, or possibly haven't depending on how Youtube dares to notify people, we released a video yesterday about funy dogy!
You may have noticed we've been knocking stuff out with relative rapidity lately! There's reasons for that, and while I don't want to sandbag unnecessarily, I would say that right now we are unsure if we can maintain that momentum, so don't get your hopes up, but TIME WILL TELL!
I'll get into that later in this update, because RIGHT NOW I have to talk about updates on the production side of things.
Hunter: The Parenting Chapter 7
We're still in the asset production phase of this one, so expect progress to be slow as of writing. Thunder and I are working well on the audio composition of it, as we've gotten most of the voice work recorded. Several artists have begun storyboarding the episodes many scenes, of which one (particularly umbral) scene is already storyboarded and art for it has begun being produced! Animation is of course going to be the lion's share of the work, as it always is with a mainline episode...
Next Audiolog?
Haven't got much to report on this as of yet, as we're still hashing out the script, but it should hopefully be a good one (as I hope all of them are, let's be real). We're a touch behind on getting it done, and that's down to a combination of focusing efforts on 6.1 to get it out the door, and other external issues. We'll get there, though, just got to... squeeze the writing fruit... don't give it up ogre... dreaming... don't give it up, poppenang...

Production Pipeline Updates
So in regards to this, I can only speak on what Alfa has proposed to us about how we work to get things done. We've been trying to see what works for our crew, in terms of how comfortably, quickly, and efficiently we can get stuff made and submitted. It's been a journey, as we are determined to find out for ourselves, first-hand, exactly what works. We are now testing out a newer method, in which our animators/viscomp/audiocomp people will hopefully be able to work on ONE project at a time to expedite its production, rather than spreading out our efforts across multiple at a time.
What does this mean for you all, you may ask?
Right now, I don't know. This whole thing has been an invaluable experience in learning how to operate as a company, and while there are doubtless dozens of resources out there to properly guide us through this, we do not operate as a typical production company. This is obviously a good and bad thing at times, but for us it is just how we operate, and we will learn as we go, we're quite good at learning.
As with everything, though, it remains to be seen if this will actually lead to an uptick in production efficiency. We are hopeful and optimistic as always about it, otherwise we wouldn't bother, however we will not charge blindly into it and JUST hope for the best. We'll be keeping tabs on it as we go, to see how it evolves, but there are never any promises of success, so don't get your expectations up just yet, please!!!
But with that production pipeline speed bump crested at 80 MPH sending us careening into a nearby home, I can resume discussion of productions!
Norfolk Wizard Game
Preliminary work has started on the next episode, but the problem we ran into is that the upcoming arc is both quite uneventful and long-spun, so our plan is to instead take the next few sessions and boil them down into one, more exciting episode. We'll see how it goes...
Rads to Riches
I want to preface this again, by saying it's been a long time with no teasing, nor any kind of major hyping up for this project. It IS however going to (in all likelihood, provided the pipeline doesn't change) be the next thing we focus efforts on, after we get fully back into things. What will this entail exactly? Again, I have no firm idea. We have assets, audio, and ideally the best visual and audio composists on our team to bring this thing to life. Right now I'm tackling, as a secondary objective, sorting out the assets we have, since they were mostly previously unlabeled.
As with all above, more details later, we're all quite tired from the rapid releases. We'll be raring to go soon enough though.

Re the NWG I'm very happy getting minimally edited audio only if it means getting it sooner. I listen to the NWG on my very long commute to and from work. Visuals don't do much for me. 8 hours of "wizard the mucking about" is great.
This one was a bit too sappy for me, but then someone pointed out that being sappy is literally the entire purpose of a werewolf, so I enjoyed that a lot more after realizing it

My brother and I agree, that you followed the best main-chapter-episode so far, with by far the best sub-chapter so far. You have knocked it out of the park with this one and please don't feel obliged to hold up this level of quality the entire time. I do not want your brittle artist bones to break under the pressure!
Petition to release the "boring and uneventful" ark of NWG in full as audiofiles, once the actual episode has been released. You guys might think that we would be bored, but over on the Narrative Declaration site, I listen to every preshow, because I just like to listen to y'all talking.
I completely understand why you’d want nwg content that moves along, but i just wanted to say that even if the plot went absolutely nowhere for like 5 episodes and it was just roleplaying for kicks I would still love it, those people are all incredibly talented and I would seize any scrap of content I got. If you released just the raw uncut audio, I would listen to that.

I wonder how difficult it would be to remove the skirt from the Wilde plush. (I have access to tailoring tools, but I'm not very experienced with them.) It's a very rude-sounding suggestion I know, but I'm just thinking, it may in fact make more sense long term as "my werewolf plush" than it does as "my werewolf plush with a maid skirt". Sometimes less is more, especially if in the long run I want something that isn't as tethered to that particular moment in the series. The skirt is an extra (maybe slightly awkward) thing to explain if I want it as a conversation piece, which I guess could be good, I'm just considering the potential option.

I yearn for the reappereance of the amazing doomed wolf yuri and the Gamet Genie ogre poppenang you chhhhhefs are cooking masterpiece after masterpiece the art in chapter 6 and 6.1 was absolutely fenomenal, the voice acting SOMEHOW keeps getting better I swear to god matilda an stig are such amazing character with such moving and hearty acting that I inspired a Dnd and Pathfinder character for each of them This team is the most promising group of artists I've seen in my whole life and I wish I could give you guys more money
Last Sunday I ran my first session of a MTA chronicle. The Norfolk Wizard game is no small part of what got me into Mage and what inspired me to run it. I look forward to future episodes but I am already immensely grateful to you all for having created it.

A more tame episode of NWG wouldn't bother me personally, the small interactions are plenty entertaining, at least for me

I saw that One Piece rap bit. It was good. As for production, don't sweat it. Getting 3 fully produced videos in a month is more than impressive and you guys should take pride in it! I've waited for things that took actual years to produce even a single chapter (Hunter X Hunter and Berserk to name a few). I can wait for your team's vision to become reality and enjoy the whole ride.
Please also release the unedited long-winded norfolk wizard game audio file in addition to the edited / condensed action one (perhaps this is patreon exclusive) . I listen to these in the background when I work so long-winded is good.

If the next Norfolk Wizard game episode will be released as more of a compilation of several sessions, will there be any chance that the separate sessions will be posted in audio form for those who enjoy longer form content? Similar to how the audio for last episode was posted before the full art episode released. Big fan of all the creations you all do!
I personally would probably listen to the longer, minimally edited, audio only, release because I almost always listen while doing laundry or something. I pretty rarely can carve out 2+ hours to look at the video. Either way is fine for me. I will only say that I will listen to audio-only less -edited things if you release them
I would pay serious money for a Susu only audiolog. I do not care if it is just her talking down at me (and everyone else) for my bad financial decision, that might even be a bonus. Preferably in Warform. I might have an issue. I am not sure yet.
