April 2026 Status Report

After the April Fools' silliness at the start of this month, there were some less fun things to deal with, like some days of unwellness and eventually taxes, as well as a number of fixes and QoL changes based on player reports, such as: the Hellhound Labyrinth traps now all having relevant background music calls, sparring with Ancilla no longer sending you to Church if you lose, and Shizu's previously nonworking three-person stances for her clone fight  now being functional. Those came with added content as well, though nothing major.

There's also been further progress on the content Val's been working on, but that may take a while yet given how much editing work I've been throwing at him in relation to the Aphrodesia stamp content, namely: the majority of the scenes leading up to and following the stamp's acquisition, multiple loss scenes, a small combat event for the Melody+Cadence fight taking place in that specific locale, along with some other odds and ends, amounting to quite a bit of content for what will be at the scale of a mini-dungeon (think Vili's Trials or Jora's quest).

What's left to do primarily consists of the "dungeon"'s boss fight, interactions with a local NPC, and some assorted things to help or hinder the player in completing the challenge. Then it will be time for all the usual testing to make sure everything works... So it looks like the update might be good to go by the end of May?

Otherwise, there's not too much to get into without outright spoiling the Aphrodesia stamp content, which I don't want to do. But once finished, it should all make for a fun, novel, and very lewd segment, very distinct from what the other stamps have been about so far.
