Quick update

Hey guys,

THought I'd do a little update as I've been all to quiet. So since posting my last set I've had just the worst case of artists block I've ever had. I spent like a week just trying to find something to make yet I couldn't think of anything.

This was just a vicious cycle as I struggle to get in that creative zone when I'm stressed, but not making anything was making me more stressed which just added to my lack of creativity. I always like to have a project to work on or something to work towards, yet this past week I was just in a horrible state that was driving me insane with frustration. At one point I was just counting by the days that I hadn't done anything and it was just making me more and more annoyed at myself with self doubt.

I kept going through older sets for inspiration, tried a Star Wars and Final Fantasy project but they just fell through due to either technical issues or just a real lack of motivation. I did a few images for a FF set but I just wasn't feeling it.

It's really hard to describe but something was missing when I was rendering the images, I just couldn't get the drive to make anything good, it allfelt like I was just going through the motions of posing the characters. Technically it was fine, but there was no passion there.

However, last night I was finally able to find something to work on and crack through my mental block. Very early days as I just started it last night and I lost most of my time today due to a puncture when mountain biking so I had to walk all the way home.

But I'm back in the creative zone and I can get back to rendering. My current project is a Cyberpunk one that is based one something I had planned at the start of the year but kinda fell through. But now I can bring it to life. Might juggle some plans around but the next set after this will either be the continuation of my Mass Effect set,, or I'll start a Witcher set. Then after that I've got plans for a Metro set or something new with Catwoman as I've managed to get myself a Lizard model.

Just wanted to also say thanks for everyone for sticking with me through my damn creative block. Love you all guys!
