isn't next episode the one Alejandro was sick for so they used a sub for his va
Sword Art Online isn't even really an isekai though. They never go to another world, it's all completely virtual and they CAN go back to their own world, they're just stuck temporarily.
Cheat skill in another world is considered an isekai even though the mc can travel between worlds at will.
Need to get a movie clapper lol
Ahh soa season 3 and 4 is sooo good!!!
if you havent watched Gun Gale Alternative its actually pretty good
Gun Gale Online is far better than SAO
No hate in this comment, just my opinion with a few facts here and there. I don't personally consider SAO an Isekai, not just because the Creator of SAO has gone on record of saying it's not. The trapped survival premise that is used to define an Isekai by some can be easily debunked when you consider that there are dozens of Isekai where the character(s) can travel to and from the "other world" yet it's still called an Isekai. I personally would only consider a virtual world an Isekai if it is not apparent that the world the characters are brought/sent to, is virtual for a decent portion of the story.
Good take!
Just a heads up, this episode doesn't show up in the collection section.
I don't consider anime that take place in a game as isekai. Even if the game world is "different", the technology that runs it and everything related to it is in the original world. Game-anime is it's own genre to me and includes both trapped-in-a-game and "log on/off anytime" VR game storylines. But I can see why it's possible to consider it as isekai. And the "isekaid into a world with game-like features" sub genre isn't making it easier (which definitely is isekai imo). There's also the quite rare anime sub genre where the MC is able to travel between different worlds (possibly including his/her own). Which tends to be considered isekai as well (even if the MC isn't stuck).🤔
This bitch dont know bout Pangea
SAO is not a isekai they are trapped in a video game and make it out into the real world. Proper Isekai are if you die and get reincarnated or you get summoned into a world.
Speaking of Muscles, Mashle will have a new season in January, show is hillarious and worth checking out :)
Would love for them to react to Mashle as well!!!
You guys definitely should watch SAO. I definitely agree it's got it's issues but it's sick and the later seasons really do fucking coooook
SAO has a fine setting, shame the author is shit and character development. The abridged version actually makes the relationship between characters believable.
Notice how they've been progressively building Inukami's relationship with Usato, and didn't just go "hey, I just met you, and this is crazy. But we're in a dungeon, so have my babies" out of nowhere? It's nice. Except the "ignoring consent" part obviously...
I'm gonna need a full cover of call me maybe with those lyrice now please.
disastrous "cliffhanger" or end of episode and iv'e already seen the series , need the next one HAHA
SAO is defo not a isekai
It is though, its genre includes anytime a person or persons conceousnes goes to that 'different world' so to speak. Its why alot of other anime fall under it. It doesnt only mean someone dies and gets reborn.
I love your guys reaction to this show
