Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour - Welcome To Paid User Guides (Review)
I reviewed Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, a glorified user manual that costs $10. A premium demo. A tutorial you pay for. Nintendo's reached new heights of audacity and sunk to a new low.

I was someone who thought that not bundling 1-2-Switch in with the last console was a poor decision, but this has blown that choice right out of the water. Nintendo continues to be infuriatingly baffling as always, but the last few months have had some truly sour notes.
As someone with roughly 5000 hours on my Switch, they're really taking the piss with the Switch 2. I can't afford a new console right now anyway, but I'm not inclined to grab a Switch 2 right now either way and it's entirely down to Nintendo being the worst. I love so many of their games! But as a company, they're the worst. Iwata would be ashamed of what they have become.
Everything Nintendo has done has made me not want to buy a Switch 2, which should have been a slam dunk day one purchase for me. Guess they saved me a lot of money.
You couldn't give this a 0? Is that not allowed by the formatting?
I would have sworn I played that spiky ball game in high school on a school computer after I finished my homework in Accounting class early or something. And I graduated high school in 2003.
Glad to see this received a 1/10. The number of people I see glazing this garbage has been shocking. Mini-games that could be made in Unity/Godot in 30-45 minutes accompanied by pointless quizzes. Literally nothing showing off how "great" the system is. As you said Astro was a free pack in that showed what the console could actually do. Nintendo should be ashamed of putting out such trash and the people who decided to charge for it should never be allowed to handle anything related to pricing again.
Wow.
That’s it, I’m downloading the entire library of Super Nintendo games illegally once again just to protest this!
Lord on a stick, between the cost of the machine (and it's not exactly exciting specs), cost of the software, lacking launch library, their draconian anti-modding rules, and now this arrogance... Does Nintendo want us to stop bullying their shit, or is this a loyalty and FOMO test?
cuz thats my "catchphrase" on "'PEACENET'"(..‽?
Well damn. That almost makes me nostalgic for Labo.
? plakat? Mehan?
They didn't even call it Switch 2torial...
