Devlog 100
We've added new localization languages; most of them haven't been tested yet and are machine-translated, but the list of languages is now as follows: Russian \ English \ French \ Chinese \ Korean \ Italian \ German \ Spanish \ Portuguese \ Polish
We haven't added much new visual content to the game; we've just made some minor improvements and updated the visuals.
In addition, we're releasing an updated version of the game with fixes right now.
List of fixes: Thanks to our testers!
- Time stops during dialogues, when opening interfaces, books, or while trading and playing mini-games, which means no more notifications about nightfall at the most inopportune moments;- The game currency duplication bug (players’ favorite bug) has been ruthlessly eliminated;
- Fixed an issue where players could earn double or triple the reward by clicking the yellow area in the mini-game; you won’t be able to make easy money that way anymore;
- Fixed a critical error that could occur when exiting the prologue to the menu and starting a new game;
- Fixed dialogues with Erzbet during her second appearance;
- The glitch causing character layer changes after the Arm Wrestling mini-game has been fixed, but if anyone encounters this bug, please let us know;
- You can no longer open the menu during a dialogue; the ESC hotkey is disabled;
- You cannot view the bulletin board while in dialogue mode;
- You can no longer drop resources or bottles on the city map; the inventory is locked;
- Fixed a critical bug where Miloslava would get stuck behind a door upon entering, blocking other characters from appearing;
- Fixed a looping music issue after closing scenes, but this requires extensive testing;
- Removed unnecessary bold text from the UI when handing potions to clients;
- Reduced the familiar’s size—you can’t feed a giant like that anyway;
- The entrance door is locked until the initial encounter with the familiar; it will open after skipping or completing the tutorial;
- Fixed a bug where a pinned recipe would get stuck when exiting the game and starting a new one;
- The recipe for the Dispel Potion has been removed from the starter pack; you’ll receive it from your familiar as you progress through the tutorial;- On the bulletin board, text in messages used to overlap; it now displays correctly;
- Fixed incorrect map scaling on widescreen monitors;
- In the prologue, it was possible to set the time speed timer to 0; unfortunately, Ren can no longer stop time.
- Optimized the interface in scenes for widescreen monitors;
- Fixed an issue where repeatedly opening previews from the scene gallery caused crashes;
- Added the “Bedroom” location; there aren’t any interactive objects there yet, but the eye on the wardrobe will be watching you;
- A new “Artifacts” tab has appeared in the book, though it won’t be useful to you right away;
- Updated the Selianka model—phew;
- Improved the visuals for the trading mini-game; Rena’s modifications are now displayed during trades (except for the muscular version—we didn’t have time to implement it yet);
- Added new voice lines: the innkeeper, the familiar, and the dwarves in the tavern;
- Added a Backlog system—now, if you’ve missed dialogues with characters and don’t know what they want, you can open the window and view the entire conversation.
- Refined the user interfaces.
We still have a lot of work to do, but thanks to you and your reports, we've already fixed a ton of bugs!
Here's the big dev log we put together this week
