Why is Yandere Simulator's development taking so long?
The purpose of this video is meant to explain why the speed of the game's development has slowed down recently, compared to the much faster pace that we had in 2015 and 2016.
In my next video, I will propose solutions to these problems. I will be very, VERY interested in hearing my Patrons' feedback on the second video.
(You should probably withhold questions and suggestions until after the second video has come out, since the purpose of that video is to address all of the most obvious things that would come to peoples' minds after watching the first video.)

Yandere Dev how can i play it with out downloading it
Because TJ Henry Yoshi saw it coming!
An A press is an A press, you can't say it's only a half!
I'm frustrated people don't realize just how much work and effort you and your team put into the game. They're getting it for free. It's not like you owe them anything.
I know you're worried about losing followers, but if they want instant gratification they should have just opened something already completed. You do a -lot- of work and I for one am happy to give what I can to see that come to completion, no matter how long you need to take. Thank you for continuing Yandere Sim, and you go to some of those things you've turned down before. You deserve it.
I know how much you feel that you need to work on YanSim, but you need to think about this more long term! Don't continue like this and end up looking back on YanSim and regretting it. You're already doing that as you pointed out in the video. Take a look at your own poll you made at the beginning of the year: http://poal.me/6su3dw 80% of Patreons, 80% of the people who are paying you to work on YanSim, are saying it is ok to slow down, and work a normal life. Please, please, please, take a step back and think "Is working on YanSim really worth devoting my life to it?". Don't push away the people who care about you. Yes, YanSim is important to you, yes YanSim is important to us, but do you want YanSim to be all you are?
I would say that it is not that we have lost faith in you. I am sure many of us understand that you are working very hard on making this game great. I am also sure many would agree that we would rather you take a break sometimes so that you do not get burned out. I can say with certainty, and many would probably agree that the money that we pledge each month would only be wasted if you burn yourself out. At least I would hope. Thank you for the periodic progress updates it is more than I have seen from some developers.
Must. Resist. The. Urge. To. Suggest. Something. And now serious. I think that everyone agree that you need some free time YandereDev. I am no close to your skill, but I am also a programmer so I can understand how hard it is to work on code 12 hours a day. (Been there, done that). I think that you should think more about yourself, Yandere Simulator is your child, your project and there is no point in slowly killing the creator of it. We, your fans don't want you be unhappy or depressed because of the game. Cheers.
Wew, the twitch Bs, personal bs, and people being impatient has really taken a toll on you. I really hope you can find some ways to mitigate these. Best of wishes to you.(•ө•)♡
