Let's get into more MESS lmao! A reminder, the mod originally was just giving buffs and a milestone to the interaction “Ask to Just be Friends”… well now it’s coming with 10 social interactions, 1 phone interaction, 1 relationship panel interaction, 2 computer interactions, 10+ notifications, two new milestones, and around 100 buffs!

This update will now include friendzone over the phone and there's gonna be some mess surrounding that like, ask why you did that? Give me reasons... like hello? Can I get out of the Friendzone? I feel like you were being transactional with me? Just MESSSSS!!!! 😈😈

FOR THIS MOD TO WORK, YOU NEED THE FOLLOWING:

1. XML Injector

2. Lot51 Core

3. Lumpinou Mood's Pack

If you don’t have these 3, the mod will NOT work, maybe you’ll get Last Exceptions or it won’t appear, UI may look weird! PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!!!

How to use the mod?

You first “ask sim to just be friends” under the relationship pie menu and under the change relationship section. Once you do that, your sims will gain a buff, and a milestone; Friendzoned a Sim or Got Friendzoned. Not only that, but it will show up on their profile page too as a relationship bit detail! [Check previous post for all the buffs]

Once this happens, your sim will have a new pie menu unlocked called FRIENDZONE.
This pie menu will have 10 total custom SOCIAL interactions:

1. Why did you Friendzone me? [Friendly Interaction that can go wrong though]

This interaction is for the sim who Got Friendzoned and feels like they still need more answers. Some buffs do feel like there’s clarity your sim has, but maybe they feel like they didn’t get the full answer. With this interaction, you will have 30 different reasons to pick from!

The last two reasons are confessing they friendzoned even though they had feelings, so the convo can go negatively or positively. If it goes positively, your sim can get out of the friendzone and have their relationship bit removed, but the milestone will still stay since it is a life moment. [11 positive outcomes, 17 negative outcomes, 2 romance negative / positive]

Once your sim gets their answer, they’ll get a buff reflecting it. If the convo goes positively, they’ll both get positive buffs, but if the convo goes negatively, they’ll both get negative buffs!

1. Can I get out of the friendzone? [Friendly Interaction that can go wrong though]

This conversation is a positive interaction. Your sims will hug it out even if it’s negative because at the end of the day, they’re friends. There will be buffs reflecting this conversation too. Leave it to chance will add a notification of either Yes or No!

For now, Friends to Lovers is surface level, but I have written out what to post for the future update when it comes to friendzoning hehe~

1. Talk About Being Friendzoned [Friendly Interaction]

This interactions is for a sim who recently was friendzoned. They can talk to this with anyone, but the sim who friendzoned them. Two scenario buffs come with this

1. I Friendzoned a Sim Recently [Friendly Interaction, but can go positive or negative]

This interactions is for the sim who friendzoned a sim. They can talk to this with anyone, but the sim who they friendzoned. There will be a notification and the interaction can go positively or negatively. Just watch how they act after saying it. Also, the thought bubbles are on point, so study that and see what they're saying.

1. Apologize for Friendzoning [Friendly Interaction that can go wrong though]

This interaction is for the sim who friendzoned a sim. It can go positively or negatively.

1. You Are Being Transactional [Mean Interaction, that can be positive]

1. You Aren't Treating Me Like a Friend [Mean Interaction]

Sim who friendzoned use this interaction and there are three scenarios

1. Are We Friends? [Friendly Interaction that can go wrong though]

Both sims can ask this question. It comes with yes, no or leave it to chance.

1. You Strung Me Along [Mean Interaction]

The sim with Got Friendzoned milestone will have this interaction

1. It Feels Like We Broke Up (Delulu) [Mean Interaction]
   The sim with Got Friendzoned milestone will have this interaction

This update comes with Friendzone over text!
You can Friendzone through the social place OR on social relationship panel!

Once your sim Friendzones through text, the main sim will get a milestone, the target won’t for now [BUT you can cheat it yourself through UI Cheats mod; it has the same icon as 'friendzone a sim', the phone icon) and I plan to tackle this on a future update! The Friendzone over text milestone will be slightly different and will have a different icon! The buffs are random, but tell a story! There are six different scenario text messages~

Not only that, you can post about it on Social Bunny.
For now, it's just one post with one narrative, but I plan to make more dramatic posts and add more to this social media like text message reactions, calling them out for posting that.. etc.

This update also comes with 2 WEB interactions

FAQs

1. Why is the mod not showing up?

The mod isn’t showing up because you may have not downloaded the three recommended mods or the three mods got an update of some sort.

1. Where is the Friendzone Pie Menu?

It’s under the Relationship pie menu, under the Change Relationship section.

1. Why are the buffs 12 hours long?

The vision for this is that this is a big moment in a sim’s life and it would play back in their mind for a long time

1. Social Bunny doesn’t work

There’s a chance I need to update the Lot 51 tuning injector part of my mod because of a recent update. Create Social Bunny FIRST, then have your sim be friendzoned and the post should appear.

1. Why does the interaction give me two buffs?

The vision for this is that while they experienced their initial emotion, there’s a milestone buff too that makes it a core memory type of buff.

1. Why doesn’t the Text Message sim who received the message didn’t get a milestone?

It was so buggy working on it, so the milestone exists, but you have to add it yourself with UI Cheats mod. Just right click the green section for milestone and scroll down. It’s the icon with the phone for Got Friendzoned. You have to include the sim and location yourself, but at least it’s there hehe 🥹

1. Why is the got friendzone milestone not showing who friendzoned them after an in person interaction?

This is most likely because you friendzoned the sim twice. It will show, but it won’t show with who or where this happened. You can manually do that yourself with UI Cheats mod (read question above how to do that).

1. Why didn’t the sim I friendzone via text not get the buff?

Sometimes the game gives nonactive sims no buffs, what I do is I remove all buffs from them through mcc cheats before texting them, then I send them away and it appears for them if you send a friendzone text. I feel like a lot of people don’t need to see what the other sim thinks, but if you want to, this is how it will most likely work if it doesn’t for you (you may have to cheat the relationship on UI cheats to see it work again)

1. I clicked Ask to Just be Friends with a broken heart icon and the mod didn’t work for me

This is because you used Lumpinou’s custom interaction. My mod is an override of the EA base game interaction and doesn’t have an icon next to it. This doesn’t mean it’s a conflict 💗

1. Does this mod conflict with any mod?

As far as I know, no it doesn’t. Unless it is using EA’s Ask to Just Be Friends interaction (conflict may occur), it should be good even if it’s another friendzone or breakup friendship drama type mods 🫶🏾
