A little over a year and a half ago, I released the first version of this mod and I received so much love for it. I appreciate everyone who included it in their gameplay whether it was for a few minutes or the whole year. Thank you so much for pushing your girl to continue this modding journey. I have so many ideas for mods, but this was the one that encouraged me to start it all.

With this new update, your sims will have feelings. I don't know if you know, but I didn't know how to make buffs back then, now today's update will come with buffs, interactions and notifications!

The mod will feel more alive than before. When your sim completes a want, they'll have a want fulfillment buff about their love tank getting full. I do want to say some wants will have custom buffs too and some won't. I plan to update them slowly (if the want needs a buff). This update also give education with each love language which would help you connect with it in a way to help further the stories with your sim(s).

This update was roughly seventeen pages long. I thought because I wrote it out it'd be a breeze, but it needed a lot of attention lol.

Instructions

• Add the trait to the sim for pie menu to appear

• THE INTERACTIONS ARE UNDER FRIENDLY PIE MENU

• Bold and capitalized headings below are pie menus names aka the traits

LOVE LANGUAGE

• These are general interactions for all sims of all love languages will have. 

• The pie menu will only show up if your sim has one of the five traits!

• It is under the relationship pie menu*

The interactions are

6. Receive a Special Gift (Storytelling interaction + Completes receive gift want)

If your sim completes the wants below, they'll have a custom buff with a fun icon

Receive Gift (If you remember, I didn't know how to complete this want because the game code shows receive gift as an interaction, but the game won't recognize it when your sims receive a gift, so I decided to make a custom interaction to complete this want. It is called Receive a Special Gift. Your sim will "receive a gift", but this is just purely for storytelling. In the future, if I figure out how to randomly add gifts for your sim, I will include that)

PHYSICAL TOUCH

The interactions are

1. Talk about being a physical touch sim

2. Complain about Sims misunderstanding you (Physical Touch can be friendly not only romantic)

3. Talk about what you like

4. What can I do to make you happy? (Romance interaction, flirtation pie menu)

5. Give a Big Hug (Get Famous Hug*)

6. Comfort Sim (Life & Death*)

Want Buff Update for the following wants:

1. Hug (this is different from give a big hug interaction, just use in game hug or hug lovingly to complete it)

2. Cozy up by the bonfire

3. Feed a bite

QUALITY TIME

The interactions are

1. Talk about being a quality time sim

2. Complain about Sims misunderstanding you (I’m not needy)

3. Talk about what you like

4. What can I do to make you happy? (Romance, flirtation pie menu)

5. Let’s make plans

6. I Want to Spend More Time with You

1. Call/ Video Call/ Chat on Computer (all 3 wants will give the same buff)

WORDS OF AFFIRMATION

The interactions are

Computer Interaction
This interaction is under the web category on the PC. Your sim will do a quiz and they'll get a notification as a result. You can give your sim the trait after. In the future, I plan to add more to it like maybe consider their likes and dislikes, traits..etc...

WANTS:

This update includes some new wants. Some I randomly came up with whilst thinking of what to do and some are just including recent packs. If you feel like there's a want I should include on a future update, please comment once you played with the mod

NOTIFICATIONS:

When sims talk about their love language or what they like, it will prompt a notification.

BUFFS:

Every interaction should have a buff except talk about what you like since it's just a notification. A lot of the buffs are to the point and not like my other mods with multiple outcomes ex: Friendzone*

More Information

I am sure you can tell that some interactions are repetitive for each trait.

• "Talking about your Love Language" will just tell sims who you are. Your sim will give the sim a notification and they'll get a buff about their conversation.

• "Talking about what you like" will result in a notification (no buffs). It's more of an educational part to know what kind of wants you will get. It also helps your sim's family/partner/friends know what you like.

• "What can I do to make you happy" is used on your sim. EX: A sim with Gifts trait will get asked this question and they'll feel like the person is a gift in their life. It's a romantic interaction meant to bring sims closer together.

• "Complain about sims misunderstanding you" is meant to share the kind of stuff a sim with the trait may go through. For now, sims will be empathetic. In a future update, I plan to make stuff a bit more toxic depending on your relationship levels.

• Each trait has their own custom interaction to make it feel special and I believe some of them will have notifications included in them. Ex: Let's plan something a sim may say they're in a seasonal mood and if it's winter you guys can do something wintery lol

• I tried to update the wants to the more recent packs, but I still have to finish that before releasing it next week

• I tried to make everything as cohesive as possible. This means all buffs should have similar looking for the trait. The Love Language Pie menu does have its own custom icon and that icon is the buffs. The only unique looking buffs are from the three unique buffs your sims can get from wants. For each trait, I believe I only did 3 buffs with the wants.

• Every time your sim completes a want, they'll get a fulfillment buff that says their love tank is filling up. 

• I only gave 3 buffs to wants and plan to add more bit by bit in the future

• In the future, I plan to make some fun customization for sims with the same traits for conversation. So some interactions won't show up if you have two sims with AOS talking, for example.

I know some simmers want the update to have randomized traits to sims. Thanks to my amazing friend Anna, I’m able to add the mod in a cheats for you to pick or randomize. All you have to do is shift click the sim.

This update is about education and feelings. Now that your sim can express how they feel, a future update will focus on toxicity. Your sim can then state they shared their love language with you and felt they had this talk with you in the past. The next love language update will be worked on FALL 2026. I plan to update this mod once a year, which helps me do my research to BRING IT for us.
