🏦 Taxes?

You can’t avoid them (no one can), but you can avoid the headache. We collect and remit sales tax and VAT worldwide so you don’t have to keep track of thresholds or rates across dozens of countries. That work is on us, not you.

💸 Chargebacks?

Chargebacks are basically a digital dine-and-dash, and they can take real money out of creators’ pockets. That’s why Patreon handles and pays for the entire dispute process. While other platforms pass those losses on to creators, we cover them, saving creators thousands every year.

💰International payout fees?

For creators outside the US, we’ve heard how frustrating the extra fees can be when using PayPal or Payoneer Wallet. US creators using Stripe have long had access to direct-to-bank payouts, and now we’re bringing a similar option to you, so your earnings can go straight to your bank account with lower fees and no extra steps.

Every month, Patreon processes 17 million transactions, more than 400 every minute. By the time you finish watching this video, nearly a thousand creators will have been paid.
