Are Quips actually shown to anyone? Some of mine get literally one impression. If you don't put them in front of people, how does your claim that they can generate new fans work?

I've been posting daily Quips for the last week but haven't seen much discovery. Any tips? Should I be using hashtags or keywords or something?
I'm creating a quip almost daily and get zero interactions. I see a little bar underneath with a lock symbol that says only I can see it. Why is that? I can't find where to unlock it. Also, it's great that I can now post a quip from my desktop, but I can't discover other quips from my desktop. Will you make that feature available on desktop sometime?
Hey Dawn, Quips are designed to be public, so anyone on Patreon (including non-members) can see them. If you're seeing a lock icon that says only you can see it, we'd recommend reaching out to our Support team so they can take a closer look at what's happening with your account and help troubleshoot the issue. How do I turn this off. I DON'T WANT my feed flooded with posts from creators I'm not already following, preventing me from easily seeing posts from the ones I do follow. The absolute last thing I need is for a service I'm PAYING MONEY FOR to be jammed with useless posts like my Facebook feed
How can I make and share Quips without them being shared with my current members?
Hey there, Quips are public by default, so your current members will be able to see them alongside anyone else on Patreon. There isn't currently a way to post Quips that are visible only to non-members.
Where do you view the Quips you've made and posted, using a desktop, not mobile?
Hey there! If you're on desktop, you can view the Quips you've posted by going to your creator page and selecting the Quips tab in the navigation menu. From there, you'll be able to scroll through all of your posted Quips and open any one to see the full post, comments, likes, and reshares.
Oh. So you sent out mass emails to people like me to post a quip... but you haven't actually enabled them on our accounts for 18+ creators. That's a bit frustrating.

I appreciate the idea behind this but the fact it’s only on mobile is very irritating to me. As someone who writes most of my copy on PC and creates all my content on PC, having it be mobile only just seems to add an unnecessary extra step. Not sure why but it seems to be a common thing, making things mobile only, that companies do for some reason. Also, you don't appear to have added scheduling for some reason.
They can be posted from the desktop version now ✌️
