Autopilot is coming to all eligible creators

We often hear from creators that you want more simple, low-effort ways to grow. That's why we launched Autopilot last year, a set of growth tools that works in the background to help you earn more with less effort. Since then, creators with Autopilot have seen increased paid member upgrades and fewer cancellations than those who don’t.

That’s why we’re turning on Autopilot for all eligible creators on subscription billing over the next few weeks, along with access to a few new growth features. If you're not using it yet, Autopilot will be automatically enabled with smart default settings, no action required. If you're already using Autopilot, your current settings will stay exactly as they are, and you'll get access to upgrade previews, benefit expiration reminders, and more.

Here's what's included in Autopilot:

New: Send friendly reminders to take an action

Sometimes a nudge can go a long way. With new features like upgrade previews, abandoned checkout reminders, and benefit expiration reminders, you can automatically remind members to complete their checkout or resubscribe for benefits.

Now that it’s part of Autopilot, you also have more control over which reminders you want to keep on or off.

Turn free members into paying members

With free member upgrade offers and teaser campaigns you can easily reach free members with discounts and previews of your work.

📈 Autopilot discounts improved the rate of free-to-paid membership upgrades by an average of 19%.

Keep fans on your membership for longer

Turn on annual memberships to allow fans to pay annually instead of monthly.

📈 Creators who offer annual memberships see 10% more earnings compared to those who don’t.

Catch members before they cancel with cancellation offers which send a discount for the next month of membership.

📈 We’ve seen over 37% of members who accepted a cancellation offer chose to stay subscribed for at least a second month, improving creators' retention of members.

Can Autopilot be turned off? Yes — you’re in complete control of your growth. You can modify any setting, pause features, or turn Autopilot off completely whenever you want. We'll let you know when Autopilot is turning on for you. At that point, you can head to Autopilot settings to turn Autopilot fully off or adjust individual features.
