Congrats to all, the top 10 are insane. For next year, it would be great if the contest could be split into professional and hobbist categories. It was a great competition nonetheless, and I had a fantastic time; kudos to Tanuki for organizing it in grand style.

An Honorable mention is a win for me! Only started painting 2yrs now. And to make it in with a high ranking is a badge of honor ill wear proudly. I know the judging is subjective. And i still feel i took a spot that others deserved better. So congrats to all. Even the ones that didnt get a mention. Its unreal how much work everyone put in
Amazing Figur8! Thank you! :)
Congrats to all the winners and to the honourable mentions. Amazing work, amazing figures, really 1st class stuff right there. I was also wondering if there was a way I could see my personal score card? I'm sure it's not anywhere near what these guys/ gals scored but it would be awesome to see how I faired if I done anything of worth at all. Would be nice to see what they thought and help find areas to improve.

"Hello, is it possible for people who are not in the top 10 and honorable mentions to get their grades and ranking relative to the other participants, and also to have the photos of all participants to compare themselves to everyone else?"

I still canβt believe that with less than a year of painting, I made it into the Top 10. Itβs a kind of happiness I canβt even put into words! I just want to say thank you to everyone, especially Tanuki and all the judges. Iβm rly grateful π
Amazing job man congratz! Such an inspiration to others like me!
Amazing!!!
Yess!!
Congratulations to all participants, and a big thank you to the organizers for such a great competition. Events like this really motivate artists and help the community grow. That said, the results left me with some questions. I thought this was a miniature painting competition, where the main focus is the paintwork. But apparently, a well-set 2700K light and dramatic photography can be just as important. Maybe next time the judging criteria should include photography skills as well. I guess the lamp deserves some credit too lol
I couldn't agree more...I was left with the same feeling. With all due respect to the great, amazing work of the artists, apparently the criteria "Neutral background and good lighting required" has a completely different meaning, unfortunately βΊοΈ
Amazing work everyone! As soon as I saw the competition, I knew I was going to be out of top 10, but to get an honorable mention means so much. Especially seeing my model next to so many other talented creators! Thank you Tanuki and all judges for an awesome contest and providing enough time to allow people to participate in such a great contest. And thank you to all the other creators who posted their progress along the way the helped me to push myself further and try some new techniques!
TVM Mimic!
