A Note About Patreon Memberships
Hi everyone, LactoQuest here.
Last month, I closed my Patreon membership tiers. However, I recently discovered that some existing memberships remained active, meaning that several supporters were still being charged.
After looking into the matter, I learned that Patreon handles memberships differently from Ci-en. Closing or unpublishing a tier does not automatically cancel existing memberships, nor does it prevent current members from being charged. Once I realized this, I felt it was important to address the situation properly and explain everything as clearly as possible.
For the time being, I will be stepping away from regular updates so that I can focus on studying, improving my skills, and growing as a game developer. At this stage, I am not able to provide enough content on a consistent basis to justify an ongoing paid membership. I would not feel comfortable continuing to accept your support without being able to offer something meaningful in return.
For this reason, I kindly ask anyone whose Patreon membership is still active to cancel it for the time being, so that you will not be charged again. Unfortunately, Patreon does not allow me to cancel everyone’s membership on my end, so each member will need to cancel individually. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
As a brief development update, both the store build and the patch linked at the top of this page have now been updated to Ver. 1.26. This update includes further improvements to the Spanish localization. The uncensored patch available on Patreon has also been replaced with the correct, fully uncensored version.
Ver. 1.26 will be the final update for the 1.x series. From this point forward, I will be focusing entirely on the development of Ver. 2.0.
I plan to reopen Patreon memberships when I feel that both my skills and my work have reached a standard I can genuinely be proud of—and when I am once again able to provide worthwhile content on a consistent basis.
I will also keep a record of everyone who is currently supporting me. When the opportunity arises, I hope to express my gratitude by including those supporters in the game’s credits, creating NPCs or Easter eggs inspired by them, or finding other appropriate ways to recognize their support.
Thank you sincerely for the trust and encouragement you have given me. It is precisely because I do not want to take that support for granted that I believe I need to step back, study seriously, and continue improving.
When I am ready to return, I hope to do so with work that reflects greater care, stronger craftsmanship, and a much higher level of polish.

I am aware that some supporters were charged without realizing that their memberships were still active. Those charges may also be eligible for a refund, so please do not hesitate to reach out.

Well I've been happy to support the progress. I liked the game very much. My only problem with it was Lyle was too difficult to beat.
I'm really glad to see you posted a new update on Patreon. I've honestly been worried that all those people who do nothing but criticize the game without any good reason might affect your motivation to create. To be honest, I've never been a patron—I've only ever been a free follower. But every time I see one of your development updates, I can't help but get excited. They're honestly something I look forward to every month, and in a way they've become part of my monthly emotional fuel. I bought and played the game as soon as it was released. It brought me a lot of enjoyment. Whether it's the story or the adult content, I think it's a genuinely great game. Sure, it has a few minor flaws, but that doesn't change how much I enjoyed it. Even though you won't be posting regular updates anymore, I think I'll still stop by every month to see . I wish you the very best with your game development. I hope you stay healthy, both physically and mentally. Whether it's future updates and improvements to this game or your next project, you'll have my support. Much love.
Honestly I would be happy if you let me keep supporting you on a low membership i understand why you are doing this but I would like to say I really enjoyed your games and dont feel like you have let any of us down in anyway because you haven't you are amazing creator does so much for us and to see how much you have grown since your first game makes me really happy and im glad more and more people are seeing this too I wish you all the best on your studying make sure to take care of yourself and spend time with loves ones and drop a post here and there so we know you are okay you will always have my support I will wait patiently for your return all the best thank you for your hard work take care.

For now I will cancel the subscription if you feel more comfortable that way. I hope that when you return, you will do so with the same enthusiasm that you have been with until now. When you do, I will support you again as I have done so far. Thank you for your hard work.
In all honesty, I would like to keep supporting. Even if it is a small, maybe a meal or maybe something to help you along the way as you continue forward. I'm sure most of us are already proud of you, some of us (me included) would love to give you a small bit of encouragement to continue to push forward.

Honestly, you're better than most. Once I started following Stigma and saw the updates, I noticed you kept adding new stuff, new routes. Which meant changes to the overall code and game, it added to the workload and scope creep. So to me, it's less of a skill issue and more a discipline issue.
