New Patreon release for the update 0.10.0

A new Patreon build has been released, this time with an almost complete implementation of the new inventory system, less obnoxious watermark, halloween event progress, and a bunch of other things.

Changelog summary:

• Implemented inventory, competed and working by about 90% since it still needs testing and balancing

• More stable save system

• Working equipment

• Halloween event progress, check out Untitled_227 map in the LvL tab in the Num0 cheat menu

• Fixed an odd behaviour of cable system, objects could not be saved and loaded properly

• Gas generator now using the cord system

• Crowbar pries off the objects even when its broken or pulled off

• NEW insanity mechanics - acts similarly to the sanity in Amnesia, stay in the dark for too long - the sanity will go down, restore it by standing in the light. Insanity has a few tiers which spawns different events depending on the tier. Check the cheat menu for debug view for the sanity system.

• Eye adaptation in the dark - in the darkness you can see objects within the short distance, now the complete darkness is no longer a black screen

• New objects in the spawn menu

• Plant diseases - rarely plants can get sick and you need an appropriate medicine

• Fixed seasons changing

• Fixed props not receiving physical damage

• Fixed ATV and Drone containers

• Fixed drone selling items

• Fixed keybind menu duplicating keybind entries

• Fixed a mountain of other minor bugs

Note that sanity mechanics, plant diseases and the others will be added to the game rules in the future if you want to disable them, still WIP

Inventory controls:

• Click and hold to drag and drop the items

• Click and drag with RMB to take the item from the stack, or add item to the stack of the same item

• Mouse scroll wheel - zoom

• Ctrl + RMB - take half of the stack

• Click on empty canvas and drag - box select; rmb on the empty space to cancel

• Double click on the item - special use case, for example - take the battery out of the flashlight

• Hold ALT - highlight all items

• Hold SHIFT - toggle grid snap

• Drop object on another object while holding ALT - combine, current use case - drop the battery on the flashlight to put the battery into the flashlight; test recipe - burger ON drive = battery

• Double RMB click - quickly put the item into the hotbar and vise versa

• Outside of the inventory: while holding the object press C to put it in the off hand (keybinds were updated, it is highly recommended to press Reset Keybinds button)

NOTE: the build is NOT finished and might have issues, DO NOT use this as your primary playthrough yet, but casual playing for bug catching purposes, reporting and feedback is appreciated.

0.10 has introduced A LOT of core changes to the game such as new save system, new save data format, new settings, and new inventory system. ULTRA IMPORTANT: MAKE A BACKUP OF THE ENTIRE VOTV FOLDER IN AppData/Local 

• Press Windows Key + R

• Type %localappdata%

• Find the VotV folder

• Right click and select "Copy"

• Paste on Desktop/Away from appdata and wait for it to finish copying

• Delete the original folder, this is required to let the game re-create the assets folder for the new 0.10 system
