Vaccines: A Measured Response is finally up!

I thought you might find the results of this study tragicomic in light of your video. It turns out the MMR vaccine provides some protection against COVID-19. Just another way in which Andy Whackfield shat on the British public 🤡 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8310886/pdf/ijmeg0012-0035.pdf

I'm a new patron. this is the video that convinced me to join eventually. It made me more angry than I ever remember being whilst not actually manic, so there's that. but i've been sending it around the people I know who are dealing with anti-vax-adjacent contacts and they're finding it useful, I hear.

I'm a bit late to this, but can you upload the full thumbnail image? I think it looks pretty sick and would definitely use as a wallpaper!

After seeing this video I went to my local bookstore and ordered Brian Deer's book. I've now began reading it. I'm only 70 pages in, but it is so well written and has surprised me by making me aware of some of my own biases. Like when Deer describes the ward that the children came to for the tests as being very pleasant. I realised I'd had this mental image of a decrepit and unsanitary hellhole of the ward. But as they say, evil sometimes wears a pretty face. Really makes me consider making a video discussing this book. So, thank you for the book recommendation, Hbomb! :3

by sheer coincedence the hmart near me recently started stocking carabao

my credit didn't appear in the final cut :( what happened?

I loved this end to end, and went back and recommended SLA:3 to friends and realized that it was released THREE FUCKING YEARS AGO, where have I been, how did that happen, am I going to wake up and realize that I'm 80 years old without realizing it, ugh, I am basically 80 years old.

finally watched this video tonight! great job kat, hbomb, and co! this is seriously one of the best videos on the channel to date—kind of mind boggling how great it is, honestly. it’s like a real documentary. i was wondering (just cuz i’m curious! i hope this doesn’t come off as intrusive or demanding) are you all still going to make a second part to this video? would love to see what else you all have to say on this topic (if there’s anything else) after you get some much needed rest!

While there is so much to enjoy about you content in general, an aspect of this video I particularly appreciated is you insight into what your viewers expect from you. You know many of us expect someone they trust ("you already agree with") to do the research for them, which, while not ideal at first, is also necessary, given how many things humanity knows and how little each human knows. It feels like a promise to keep doing your best. And when you actively strive to turn something dark and depressing into a source of light and change, as you do at the end of this video, you're, in my worthless opinion, doing the absolute best someone in you position can do. So, thank you. It's hard to imagine things getting better, and that we can be the ones to improve them even more so, and it must be exhausting to convince others they can. Thank you for that too.

Great "Re-animator" reference with the thumbnail, loved the video too. Thank you.

This video is absolutely amazing. I just shared it with everyone. 💚

No idea if you'll see this, but do you play magic the gathering Arena late at night online? Or has someone borrowed your moniker in that game, do you think?

Great video. Hbomb is like John Oliver but funnier, more well researched, and with a better accent.

All I ask is for the option to vote for a VtM video in the next poll

This video is fantastic!

Why is your beard lopsided

This is it. This is the video that finally made me a patron.

Fabulous video essay as usual! Honestly one of the best ones yet! Thanks for all your hard work! Your videos are honestly better than movies or documentaries. Cant wait for the next one!

this is POG

Thanks again for this! One thing I remember from my pre-vaccine childhood is that measles could also cause serious eye problems including blindness. So, sure, let’s expose our children to blindness and death because that must be better than autism! Thanks again for your thorough work!

I think I just had to join your patreon after watching such a great documentary. How does such a small team even make something of that quality, I'm genuinely astonished!

This is the one that got me to pay up. Excellent work, y'all.

Always love a down with the sickness gag

Great video! Would you be able to provide more information on the music used? I find that y'all have great taste in tunes but I can never find the specific tunes to buy/stream easily, if I can find them at all.

The video was great, but perhaps more interesting was how much ableism is in the comments. Pretty much all of them are replies to autistic people who were thanking you for addressing the issue, mostly calling them selfish for wanting to be treated as a human being.

Congratulations!

And congrats on now having the second most viewed video about Andrew Wakefield on YouTube dot com: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=andrew+wakefield&sp=CAM%253D

Brian Deer, chad that he is, has shared it: https://twitter.com/deerbrian/status/1397837632705646594

the edits for this were great, thanks for your hard work!

Oh, this is super-exciting! Sweet dreams

The additions and edits in the final version are great. Very nice final product. I'm waiting for the inevitable response videos of angry people in costume wigs who won't directly reference anything in the original. I'm going to use that "coffin has fallen through the floor from the sheer weight of all the nails that have been hammered in it" line in the future.

in your april update, you mentioned the vaccines video having a "sequel" of sorts on the media after deciding to split the topic into two videos. is that still your plan or have you decided to shelve it? thanks, it's a great video as always <3

The Pathologic joke was removed :(

For those of us who saw the earlier version, any differences of particular interest?

Congrats, Harry&Kat! I'm only 10 minutes in, but I've already got a massive smile on my face! Hope both of you can take a rest now and look after yourselves!

The final looks great! I enjoyed having an excuse to watch it again.

Definitely interested in the patron's only patent video sometime in 2025.

You’ve definitely earned a rest. Fantastic video!

Thank you, this was a great watch and very easy to share!

Wonderful work, critter. You and the team have done so well!

Just so it’s more visible I’ll repost this here (and no more, I promise :)) ‘Please hire somebody to make proper subtitles/captions for your videos. I know A LOT of people, who would very much enjoy your content, but can hardly watch videos in English (especially with British accent) without subtitles.’

turned out great! get some well deserved rest

Go to sleep
