Episode 2 Progress Update

Quick update on the next update, things are moving along really well.

I’ve spent a good chunk of this week working through one of the more render-heavy sections of Episode 2, as well as finishing off some of the animation work and tightening up the dialogue and character interactions.

The episode is now roughly 75–80% complete. Most of the big story decisions are locked in, a lot of the heavier animation work is finished, and I’m getting into the final run of scenes, audio, implementation and testing.

I’m really happy with how this episode is coming together. It feels noticeably more polished than Episode 1, particularly with the character work, atmosphere and the amount of visual variation in the scenes.

There’s still a bit to finish and then I need to give the whole thing a proper playthrough to make sure I haven’t broken anything along the way 😂

Barring any unexpected disasters, the next release should be out next week.
