Weekly Development Update
This week has been a little slower than I’d hoped, so I don’t have a huge batch of new content to show. I have still made some useful progress behind the scenes, though.
Most of my time went into improving the production workflow for Episode 2. I now have a much more reliable system for importing the characters with their morphs, expressions and materials intact, which should save a lot of time as I build future scenes.
I’ve also been working on the Section 7 sequence:
The first airlock renders are taking shape.
The corridor lighting and atmosphere have had another polish pass, including subtle haze and improved depth.
I’ve cleaned up how the game transitions between episodes, so future updates should continue naturally from existing saves.
It is not the biggest visible update, but a lot of the awkward technical work is now out of the way. That should make producing the next batch of renders and scenes much quicker.
Thanks as always for your patience and support. Episode 2 is moving forward — just a little more quietly this week than I would have liked.
