• End of Watch — the Night’s Watch concludes.
  New progression through the final hours of your shift with Lyco, closing out this chapter of Highrock and setting the tone for what comes next.

• UI / Interface Overhaul — cleaner, sharper, more readable.
  Improvements across the main menu, sidebar presentation, and general flow, meant to make Orphan feel more deliberate from the first click onward.

• Polish & Bugfixes — tighter presentation, fewer rough edges.
  Minor fixes and refinements throughout: small issues resolved, transitions improved, and the overall atmosphere reinforced.

This is not a 50k-word feast.

3.33 is a threshold chapter. A “final breath” update, built to sharpen the experience, improve first impressions, and close the Night’s Watch with intent while I work on what lay ahead.

It’s also a deliberate step toward the next era...

Which requires something most games avoid:
constraint. repetition. pressure. consequence.

The Harrowing is not a single scene.

It's a condition; a slow grind of hunger, focus, exhaustion, and temptation that may (or may not) end in manifestation. It will arrive in deliberate stages.

🗝️ For Veterans vs. Newcomers

• Veterans: If you’re caught up and hungry for major new story beats, treat 3.33 as what it is: a sharpened transition. The reward is what it sets up. If you haven't experienced the House Varro feast from Chapter 3.32, now is a great time to jump in. If you haven't played through the Academy in a while, the same applies there!

• Newcomers: This is one of the best times to begin. The game now reads cleaner, feels smoother, and carries you into Highrock with stronger momentum. Whether a gladiator or an aspiring Ascender, I hope you enjoy the start to a new year of Orphan.
