DevLog: Data Storage Failing
Quick reminder: You can follow development more closely on the Trello board.
TLDR
Last scene is progressing!
Solid-state drive containing all source material is failing

What I'm working on right now:
Last scene of the update
In addition to the hardware complications (see Technical Corner), lately it's been very slow going (apologies) on this last scene, it doesn't help that there are four characters that are making it complicated and difficult to pose, and difficult to keep straight in the writing/code.
After I get my hardware working, this will be where my time is mostly spent.
⚙️ Technical Corner
Solid-State Drive Failing
Yes. I'm dead serious. I'm convinced now that I am cursed, because in just under 12 months, I've had: Motherboard failure, RAM failure, and now SSD failure.
Need not worry; not only do I have backups, backups, and more backups, I've also got a spare SSD replacement. I completed a full replication of the failing drive, which took just under a day to copy the data. So I'll be back up and running in a super short time.
💬 Community Corner
As a follow-up to my last DevLog, I want to say thank you again to everyone for just simply supporting me. I've been spending more time with my family member, and as I've adjusted to my schedule, it's become easier to get back into the rhythm of things. I realized only recently how much it's been effecting me; I apologize that it's rippled and impacted this project. Lately, I've been in a more peaceful place and it feels like I'm able to manage better and be more consistent with life but also with Echoes of The Cataclysm.
See you in the next one! ™️

Hey nuii, so good to hear from you! Just yesterday I came to your Patreon to see if there was any new comments on your last post :) Nice you see you're getting back on track with everything, stay strong my friend!
I appreciate you Ricardo! FYI, I can't remember if I announced this at all... but I've moved from Ubuntu and onto Linux Mint; I've been enjoying the helllll out of it!
Good to see you back again Nuii, i'm happy that your back up of the back up of the back up. Got you covered and all the game data is safe missed you buddy
Thanks Barr! Missed you too I'd never let anything happen to it!
If you have had so many components fail over a short period of time I wonder if your power outlet is providing dirty power. If you don't already have one I would recommend putting your PC on an UPS. The UPS will provide the PC stable, non fluctuating power even if the outlet is providing bad power.
Great advice, I was about to mention that it could also be a malfunctioning PSU.
Great to see you back with us bud!
Thanks Taj <3
Glad to see back at things buddy. Always here for you bro. Even if the tech gods hate you I always got your back.
It'll be a battle of the gods, then!
