DevLog: I've Been Quiet...

Today's DevLog is gonna be different and shorter than usual... and a tiny bit more personal too.

Realistically and honestly, my motivation for the past few months has been blunted, but not gone. I've still been putting a few hours here and there and making progress towards the final scene of this update - I'm still so excited for this update and I'm still having fun with it.

But while being open and honest, I don't like to give too many details, nor do I like when someone give excuses or air their life's problems... I still want to give a slight insight into what's been going on.

A family member has a chronic illness that has been well-managed for the past few years - but unfortunately, the illness has progressed again. I'd rather not get into the details publicly but this means spending more time with them - appointments, treatment, helping out with random things, but also more mental stress. That's just sort of where my mental energy has been going lately.

It's worth remembering that this is still a hobby for me, but I'm still here, still working, still committed to this project. I just wanted you to actually know why, instead of just getting a quiet stretch of nothing.

Anyways. Thank you for sticking around and for the patience, it means a lot.
