App Update: Race Engineer v2.6

Update Info 2.6:

• Voice Recognition for Windows Users!

• Major Efficiency Improvements

• Wind Feedback Simplification & Bug Fix

• Fixed User Controlls not correctly assigning for the following controllers:

  • Thrustmaster T300

  • Thrustmaster T300 + Ferrari Addon Wheel

  • Thrustmaster T300 + SF1000 Addon Wheel

I have been wanting to get Voice Recognition working for ages and finally was able to get it working with this update!

How it works (Note only compatible with Windows Users)

1) You need to have windows speech recognition setup.

2) On loading a session the Race Engineer App will produce a small PowerShell Script window (as seen below:)

3) This will listen to your voice and then feed that to the Nuzzi Race Engineer App.

Currently the race engineer will be able to respond to the following commands:

• Radio Check

• My Position

• Tire Temps

• Brake Bias

• Damage Status

• Wind Info

• Gap to driver ahead/behind

Should you not want to use Voice Recognition and to disable the Power Shell Script Window from popping up, you can disable it by editing the user vars at the top of the Race_Engineer.lua file.
