A little problem...

Guys, I'm having some issues and I probably won't be able to make the weekly report tomorrow.

My power supply was giving me problems for a few days (loud noise and overheating) so today I went to a specialized store and bought a new one... But that crap was apparently faulty.

After a while of everything apparently going well, the keyboard and mouse stopped responding. I rebooted and it happened again, so I rebooted again and entered the BIOS (the BIOS is something like the operating system of the motherboard of every computer). I start checking things and the BIOS also freezes... So, being really pissed off, I reinstalled the old one after giving it a good cleaning. Now it doesn't heat up as much but it's still a good idea to change it...

By the way, don't worry, I've been building my own computers since I was 20, so it wasn't a user problem, it's a purely physical problem with the new power supply.

Now, in a few hours, I have to go to the store again to replace it. But another one exactly like the one that came out defective, no longer inspires confidence in me. So I'm going to try to do a complete change and put a little more money to buy a decent hard drive. If all that goes well, tomorrow I'm going to dedicate myself to replacing the hard drive and that will take me a good part of the day because I have to back up and install everything again, or maybe I'll make a mirror copy to avoid so much drama.

In any case, and in the worst case, everything should be back to normal by Friday...
