Let There Be Light(s) - Shader Update July 2026
This is one of the largest updates I have done in a while, and it touches a lot of different shaders. Core changes:
ReLight has been augmented with an addon. What this means for you is that instead of 1-4 lights with growing performance cost, you can now use up to 64 lights at pretty much constant performance cost, and with MUCH better UX. It's what it always should have been.
RTGI has now much better AO. The new feature I introduced 2 updates ago massively boosted GI quality, but the AO suffered a bit of a quality loss. I found the perfect solution for it, implemented it and... there you go. Faster too, at least a little bit.
Launchpad is necessary for most of my lighting shaders, but many people have lamented its overhead. I made the optical flow better and faster, did a MASSIVE overhaul on the smooth and textured normals (look better and are faster!) and the iMMERSE suite now uses an internal IPC system where the shaders like RTGI communicate to Launchpad what data they need, and Launchpad generates only that. Meaning if you only run Launchpad and RTGI, and you turn RTGI off, Launchpad's performance consumption drops almost to 0, without you having to do anything.
Solaris has been reworked and is now free!
Film Grain has been reworked and is now polished enough to be part of iMMERSE as well.
Path Traced Volumetric Fog (the experimental stuff for the 20$ subscribers) has been much improved and converges approximately 1337 times faster at about half the frametime from before.
Files can be found on the Discord - as usual. Make sure to delete all old ones, to avoid any conflicts. Cheers!

Im not sure where to get launchpad. Im in the discord but I dont see where the download is.

if you do not accept the refund unlock the raytracying for this month i lost 4 days of the subscription by freezing the membership thanks.
As replied to in DMs, no one who has access to Patreon here has the ability to freeze your membership. This is more than likely an issue with Patreon or your banking institution and you should reach out to the either of them to see what is going on.

If the game allows for ReShade, and ReShade is able to get a depth buffer, then yes.

Hi, downloads are all provided in our Discord. That being said, ReLight Alpha 0.2 is extremely old and depreciated. You should use the version provided in iMMERSE Pro 2607 (the latest version at the current moment).

Thank you for the update. I only started using the Immerse Suite and RTGI for my VP a little while ago as it was recommended by a friend. I am already extremely impressed by the quality of the shaders and how it has improved the look of my photography. I look forward to using this update. Also, I enjoyed your video: short, and to the point without being too technical, and the humour made me laugh.
