[1.19] Storyboard complete!
Hey guys! Last week I completed the storyboard for the next episode. Weighing in at 248 slides, it’s the longest storyboard so far.
That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the longest episode to play, but it is the most thoroughly planned. Hopefully this means that production will be swift and easy, with few obstacles. 🤞🏻😬🤞🏻

What’s included
A scene that was supposed to be sexy but minor blew up out of all planned proportions when it came to storyboarding. It’s evolved into a complex sex scene, an important milestone for the heroine’s journey to bargirl status, and a powerful emotional beat for her.
Episode 1.19 will include the buildup to this scene, the scene itself and the club shift that happens around it, and the fallout afterwards.
But White Russian is being pushed back to the next episode
I was planning to include both this shift and the side quest White Russian in this episode. But I definitely feel like this shift is strong enough to stand on its own; we can go to production, there’s no need to make you guys wait for me to add on a whole extra quest to this episode.
Next steps
With the storyboard done, I’m getting started on production for Episode 1.19. This is the exciting part, where we convert all the planning into actual working game screens! I love this part because you can actually see everything coming together.

This sounds good. Pushing back the side-quest sounds a good idea: those could easily undercut the tension if there are too many at once. Sprinkled more sparingly they become good moments to catch a breath and see how Kate's adventures are changing her.
I like what I am reading. It's time for our hero to have another major step in her hero's journey (Crossing the Threshold). Pushing back the side quests to advance the main quest is fine by me. AFAIAC you can/should do that indefinitely.

Crossing fingers this episode will contain MC becoming a bargirl rather than further build up for down the track. Either way eagerly looking forward to next week’s report.
I agree to some extent. I think it’s time she cross the line, but in a situation she could tell herself is an exception. Like a VIP room or a special guest. That was she can still deny that she’s going to be a bargirl, but the resistance will start to crumble.
