[Ep 1.17 “Girls’ Night Out”] It's not ready
Guys, I'm so sorry to report that the episode's not going to be ready for release tomorrow.
I know this has taken ages and I'm really sorry. I've been stressing out and working long hours on it, but it's not yet in the state where I'm happy to release it.
I hope it's going to be worth the wait. I'll keep working on it tomorrow and report progress regularly until it's fucking done.
Sorry for the bad news. 😞

why do people get so angry about this? cancel your membership if you want to, but getting angry about it doesn't impress anyone and it definitely won't let Crush get the update out sooner.
Speaking for myself, I am not angry, only frustrated and impatient. I am aware putting pressure on the author and let him stress about the delay won't help him deliver any sooner, quite the contrary, and I am sympathetic to his purported case of writer's block. OTOH, I am less willing to grant him unconditional credit and support for indefinite delays when a playable version exists, and to indulge his apparent committment to artistic perfectionism. If you ask me, when you publicly ask for support of your project and take patrons' money, you accept a responsibility that may require to compromise with perfectionist urges for the sake of transparency and timely delivery. This especially when dealing with games that can often be edited, improved, and released in subsequent versions at different stages of development. Many game creators that face similar circumstances release incomplete but playable versions of their work to prevent excessive delays. I respect and sympathize more for that than for being strung along because the work is never good or sexy enough in the author's eyes.
Keep up the good work Crush, you got this. It's amazing how impatient some of these people are, it's not like there's a shortage of pornography.
No, but good erotic fiction or games that cater to this specific 'sexy female cop/spy/reporter goes undercover as sex worker and gets corrupted' theme do not exactly grow on trees. It is one of my biggest kinks, so believe me, I have looked.
I get that it was supposed to be done a while ago, but at least Crush gives us updates, even if it's to say "It's not done." I've dealt with plenty of creators who only give monthly updates (if that), and put out inferior and shorter updates. Yep, he probably needs to be more careful about giving timelines. Yep, people are always going to be disappointed when timelines are passed by. Yep, you have every right to cancel you patronage and I'm sure some of you will. If you've never created anything like this, please recognize that it's A LOT MORE WORK than it seems like. And it doesn't always go to plan. I'm sticking with it for now because it's a solid product and one that I look forward to playing, even if it takes longer than expected to arrive. The thing's been in production for YEARS now, after all.
Well, I may return once he starts actually providing content rather than excuses. Let us see what is actually given in the next update when it appears, and if it was worth the wait. I have enjoyed the game and its previous versions, and that is what makes the excuses so annoying, as he does seem to have the ability to produce good content.
I'm only a Recruit but I don't mind the wait. It's important that you don't loose the passion for your project. The rest will sort itself out.
Do not beat yourself up. Chill a little. Don't burn out. I love the game so far and it would suck if you dropped it. It'll be ready when it's ready. :)
Rather it late than a buggy mess! Take your time!
Could you at least give some kind of estimate of what actually remains? I think that would be fair to your patrons considering the size of the delays. Up until the first delay you gave an easy to understand weekly overview of the status for each scene, but now we’ve gone from that and an estimated three weeks remaining, to no real information about the progress and what remains, with two and a half months passed and the only thing to go by being another promise of regular updates until it’s done.
Don't beat yourself up about it. Just give it the time it needs.
That's it, I'm out all I have seen from you are excuses for your inability to deliver anything. It's a real shame as I have enjoyed what you have available, but hey if you can make good money for selling nothing but excuses then go for it. Good luck milking everyone for as long as you can.
Yeah, this was the final straw for me. I understand that deadlines can change, but the pace of these updates is comically slow. If they switched to a per-release subscription model, I'd consider pledging again, but as it stands, I can't justify paying for delay after delay.
Take your time. If it's not ready, then take the time to get yourself and the game in the right place.
