Jesus what a week
Hey guys! So we just released the early access version of 1.12.
As always, we hit this deadline (which has already been pushed back) without enough time to do everything we wanted in this release.
We have a whole bunch of cool things that are nearly, but not complete: we'll add in as many as we can between tomorrow and the general release of 1.12, which is targeted for June 13th.
Okay...this is a pathetic husk of a dev report because I'm an exhausted husk of a crab. But I'm psyched about two things:
Getting feedback on the Early Release version from Analysts+
Polishing this version in early June
Okay I HAVE to SLEEP. But I can't wait to get 1.12 out to everyone, we need feedback on if this is the right direction to move in 馃槵

i recently subbed, but i played both versions, 1.6 and 1.11. i dont understand why you restarted? it just started to get interesting in 1.6 and then its end of content. and in 1.11 its even less content?
I think the short story is that crab (the author) wasn't satisfied with how sex scenes worked, and took a couple of iterations to fix that. First they were too repetitive, then they took too long to write, then they were too detached, and now the 1.12 beta delivers a streamlined variation of the "took too long to write" version (with some good changes) and seems to hit a good balance. They'll probably spend another week polishing 1.12 (like making tattoos visible in the back view where appropriate), then release 1.12, then hopefully push on to Bangkok. Crush would probably like to spend another year or two on improving the lifepath (the life before the agency), but he knows he has to push those plans back to prevent a revolt ;)
Thanks for this release! I really enjoyed the writing. The entire thing is very polished already. Nicely done! :)
Very much enjoyed the demo. Was patently waiting for the jump back into the action and happy to see the wait was worth it. Also happy that the next story part is Bangkok so excited for that now that we have skipped over the bog that was uni.
I love the game so far but man. It sucks how slow content comes but can鈥檛 rush perfection so as much as I hate to say it. Take your time, can鈥檛 wait for the full release.
I enjoyed this demo a lot. Doing agent stuff is way more gripping than the university backstory. Can't wait to play more.
