What Crush is up to

The new sex scene adds around 10,000 lines of code to the game.  Most of it works, but there are some bugs that need to be ironed out before we can release it.

I'm currently working through the scene, fixing silly problems (like a certain path that allowed the agent to have sex without taking off her underwear), broken links, and dead ends.

There are also errors that you can't really detect from just looking at the code, but which do emerge during playtesting.  For instance, this NPC isn't getting off during a sex scene:

His objective here is to increase his own enjoyment of the sex scene.  His AI is supposed to do the following:

• Check if I'm wearing a condom

• If so, see if my partner will let me take it off

• If not, do something else (like change positions, or apply The Shocker to liven her up a bit)

A typo in his script made him do all three things at once, creating a potentially confusing player experience (because there are two sets of options to choose from).

I worked through about half of the scene today, fixing stuff like this.  Hopefully I'll finish it tomorrow, but it depends on what I encounter – if not tomorrow, it will be in the following days.

Delegation
Clever readers may wonder if I can delegate this tasking in order to speed it up – the answer is yes but not yet.  

If I push this out to a Beta test right now, all I'll get are bug reports that I don't need – I'm finding plenty of bugs.  :-D  And they're fast for me to fix since I'm the most familiar with the code for this scene.  

But as soon as I hit difficulties in either finding or fixing problems I'll call for backup.
