Sprint 004 day 6
Hey guys! We made some solid advances today:
We set up the prototype branch so it has a start screen, pregenerated character and first story passage
I wrote the first couple of text "snippets" in the first story passage
We set up some new code that randomly selects which of the available snippets to display. (There's already some code in the game that does this, but the new snippets tend to be longer so we had to revisit how we do this.) This task is now moved to complete in the Trello
So today we got the prototype fully set up and ready to accept content. My next main tasking is writing the snippets, which is exciting because writing is my favourite thing to do.
Moar work on the game tomorrow. See you then!

"We set up some new code that randomly selects which of the available snippets to display." Will you be adding more text snippets every now and then? I'm thinking patron submissions, hired help and your own writing. With more randomization the sex scenes will feel less generic, I think (or hope).

I know it鈥檚 completely off-topic, but that picture just reminds me how bizarrely overcomplicated trainer designs have become. Not that it鈥檚 a particularly baroque example.
Newer tennis shoes feel so springy though.
