Final pre-release polishing day

Long day!  I spent it working on a fix for a lingering aesthetic problem.  The new avatar body shapes have slightly different shoulders and jawlines, causing white gaps to appear on most of the haircuts:

It's pretty jarring to look at (especially with the new maxed out avatar size).  During testing, I realised that I was subconsciously avoiding picking gappy haircuts – even for my pointless testing runs – so I feel like this is an important thing to fix.

This meant creating three versions of every haircut and hair colour (one for each body type) – that's 2,673 artwork files, most of which needed manual editing to get them pixel perfect.

I was hoping to finish it tonight, but I'm totally frazzled now so I'll finish it tomorrow.  20 of 28 haircuts are complete, so the bulk of the work is done.

This is the last dev report of this "sprint" (which ended up feeling more like a marathon).  Tomorrow's post will announce the general release of the polished 1.5!

I hope you guys like it.  Next week we'll announce our plans for version 1.6 and the next sprint.

Jesus the hair took me until about 2300 TODAY to complete and upload. It really sucked! But the character creation screen seems about a million times more slick now that all the haircuts fit.
