Monday transparency report

Hey guys!

Slight change of plan this week: the changes I made to Bettis made me realise, a few days ago, that I could restore the Max side quest. Cutting it was really unpopular, so I'm working on restoring it now (and also restoring the balcony branch of the sex scene while I'm at it, which was much more popular than I'd realised).

I've also been editing based on some really thoughtful feedback from thebumpinthenight, who pointed out that I'm overcharacterising the heroine in some of the Malaysia scenes. Some of the places where I've written a passage about her inner psychology really would be better just being replaced with a player choice.

All the Max stuff is mainly written already, so it's mostly just a case of plugging old content into the new framework (and "churn editing" as I go to make easy improvements on the overcharacterisation issue). Today was a very long day (12hrs 🫩), but I got a lot done, and I will get back on it bright and early tomorrow. 🦀❤️‍🔥
