June 29 beta test
Hey guys! Here's a quick sneak peek of the changes I've been working on to the Malaysia part.
Your save from the last beta may work, or if not there's a shortcut to Malaysia in the scene in Kate's office (right after the "flash forward" to the club).
This is just a beta, it isn't ready ready, but I'm trying to get playable content out faster like I promised. Please feed back here or on Discord.

Let's see how it turned out, particularly with regard to the experimental path of being accompanied 馃珷.
I really like the continuation of the Little Miss Fuck Up persona, I think it's a great way for having Kate have some more temptation/trepidation in the undercover work, and the chance to get lost in the role as things get dangerous. The scene when she first sees street girls really pushes that suspense as well, a quick taste of worries to come. Also the hostel trip is a great addition, excellent training and immersion, and doesn't go too long. Backpacker Boy and the Swingers are fun additions for flirting, while part of me would like to just jump into the sexy scenes with them... building things up for Thailand makes sense. The Solo path was better than the Partner, Bettis just doesn't seem interesting. Maybe if she were more flirty, and the role was more of an experienced backpacker who likes to take younger kids and "show them the ropes," then her sudden departure and stranding Kate would add to the cover? As is, I would probably go Solo anyway. I'm sad to lose Max, it was a spicy time and I didn't think it was too long at all. More Alias than Homeland kind of theme, but I liked it. If you do want to ditch it, I suggest saving the writing to reuse for a side mission in Thailand, it's good stuff. Though as is I thought it made for a fun primer episode. Some errors: lots of name errors with the cover, all going to a default "$kate.cover.knownAs", also a "Error: <<=>>: bad evaluation: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'toUpperCase') <<= $kate.cover.knownAs.toUpperCase()>>" error in the DDI Studio scene with the third person. and similar errors on the next screen pulling up background pics. And in the Partner path for some reason the character model was out of focus a lot of the time.
Playing for just 1 min and it鈥檚 already better. Keep it up crab, you still own it!
