Monday transparency report
Hey guys! This week (like a few minutes ago 😮💨) I finished coding in the new Lifepath structure.
Short report because it's 2110 and I'm tired. This took longer than planned because I did a big fucking edit of a popular Lifepath scene from 1.6, starting Thursday and just finishing today.
It was kind of weird because I was expecting to just paste it in – everybody liked it in 1.6 – but when I went back to it, it just didn't fit well into the new writing style. But the ideas on how to fix it just exploded in my head and, while I never like to rely on inspiration, I think you have to surf it when you've got it.
So I fixed it up – and I think made it much realer and hotter. And I finished patching up the new structure, so the task I started two weeks ago (coding in 134 new passages to a new structure) is done, plus a little extra – it actually ended up being 229 passages (plus 331 other passages that were finished previously). The next episode is gonna be pretty big. 😬
Our illustrator lovely Victoria has been working on art and I still have plenty of editing and tweaking to do while she works. I'll get straight back on it tomorrow morning. 🦀❤️🔥

i don't know...my doll would have a bit more visible boobage from the back
i suppose that over time your writing style will have changed and Kate's story would have evolved in ways that weren't part of the original plan. bound to need tweaks (read massive 5 day long rewrites) to bring it all together
I will say you should take all the time you need to make sure you get this right. I don't think this game survives another "reboot". 8 years in the making and still not halfway finished. Also one thing to consider is if this is a plot with porn or porn with plot. Plot with porn then longer areas like. Bangkok are fine. Porn with plot it is a problem but not the worst. (edited after realizing autocorrect made porn corn)
So with that little chart you posted up a few weeks ago. Could you post it again this time with the updated reworked or finished areas colored in?
