In the Making #5
Hey everyone!
I went a little MIA because I got sick so I couldn't really progress as much as I planned to. But I'm happy to say I'm almost back to normal and started working on these small details for the sunroom/greenhouse.
These ideas have been on my list since the very first Charm’d set, but I never had enough time to fit them in. I think this part of the collection is the perfect place for them and they’ll add some extra details to the sunroom!
First up are some roof decorations: a roof cresting and a finial to dress up your Victorian roofs!
I’m already working on the glass roof texture to match the window frames! They probably won’t have any stained glass details because I think that would look a little weird on the roof, but they’ll match the window colors so you can create a seamless look. I’m also including a glass wall paint that you can use, for example, on those triangular sections of the roof!
Another item I started working on for the previous set but didn’t manage to finish is the gutter system! I don’t think anyone has ever been this excited to say this sentence but I’ve really wanted to add this little detail to the game for a while! I think it’ll bring a bit more realism to the builds, and I’m so happy I finally get to make it. It’ll come with several pieces so you can build it to any height and place the horizontal pieces next to each other to make it as long as you need!
Last on the agenda (or first, actually, since I started working on them first!) are the grape vines. I’ve made 4 variations so far, but I’m still testing them out to see if they’re as versatile as I’d like them to be. I might add a few more if I feel like they need more options.
I’ve mentioned this a few times before, but I didn’t want to promise anything I might not be able to deliver. I’d really love to make speed modeling/texturing videos for each set, featuring one of the items and showing how it comes together.
Last time, I couldn’t manage to record anything, but this time I’ve started recording the process of making the grape vines! I really hope I’ll be able to put everything together into a video and share it with you so you can see how I create these items from start to finish. Maybe something good can come out of it, we'll see!
Thank you so much for being here! I can't believe we're already at 85 000 followers! I’m so grateful for every single one of you and all the support you’ve shown me. It really means the world to me!

You turn every little thing pretty. Can you make ugly basegame things pretty? Fire alarm, heater, safety alarm are so ugly but we can't avoid using them. Use your Signature Magic Touch, please!
The gutter system is a great idea! I really like the out-turned spout at the end. It's so much more realistic than others I have seen where it just kind of stops at the ground. Happy to hear you are feeling better! 🫶
ive been wanting rain gutters like that FOREVER so I'm really looking forward to those. will they work as trims or be freely movable? Cause tbh I'd much prefer either the latter or both.
Omg the gutters!! I’ve been wanting some better gutters for ages, these look so great
Its getting hard to see what you work on, maybe im dumb but between the wip and those I dont understand where is the download link and/or the public access release date
The gutters!!!!!!!!!!!! omg
GUTTER SYSTEM!!! I can't express how excited I am for that! Thank you for making that curved ground piece, It bothers me to no end how every other gutters I've found just goes straight into the ground.
pls take care of yourself and don't be too busy!!!
seriously take care of yourself. You push too much and you might get sick again
I'm so glad you're starting to feel better! I love how much attention you give to the little details of a home and I would personally love to add some gutters to my houses! I love realistic details like that!
Being sick is the worst, I'm glad to hear you're almost all better. No rush on making progress, pls take care of yourself! And all these little details look beautiful, especially excited for the grapevines!!
