Collection Journal #2
Hey everyone!
Thank you so much for all the love on the previous set, which was the first part of our Victorian house’s sunroom! I’m so grateful for all your support, and it made me really happy to see how excited you were about this set. Also, thank you everyone for all the lovely comments! I had a great time on my short vacation, although I walked so much that I’m actually more physically tired than I was before. :D
CHARM'D SUNROOM 2
Continuing with the sunroom, I have quite a few little details that I couldn’t get to last month, so I’m trying to fit them into this second part. There are lots of little things I still want to add to make the sunroom feel complete.
Inspiration
My main goal for this set is to create a sunroom that feels lived-in, old, and full of character. As I mentioned earlier, I watched the Architectural Digest tour of the Practical Magic house, and besides the kitchen, I absolutely love the solarium. I’m taking a lot of inspiration from it for this set.
The items
I’m not sure how many of these things I’ll be able to fit into my schedule, but these are my plans below. And if I can’t fit everything into this part, then a third part it is! :D
First things first, I need to finish the remaining details for the sunroom, like the transparent wall paint, the transparent roof texture, and a column to match the windows. These are already in progress.
Another thing I have planned is a new foundation lattice with a lot more color options than the in-game one.
I think the grape vines are going to be the star of this set! I really wanted to create something new that could be used inside a greenhouse or sunroom, and I thought they would be perfect for that. They’re full, a little wild, and I think they’ll really help make the space feel more lived-in.
The Practical Magic solarium was also a big inspiration for this idea, since it has grape vines too, and I absolutely love how they look there.
I want to make them in different shapes and sizes so you can really dress up the sunroom and make it feel nice and full of greenery.
I want to make everything as good as I can, so I’m focusing more on quality than quantity. I’d rather take my time and make sure I’m happy with everything than rush to get more items done.
I’m really excited about the grape vines, so I decided to start working on them right away! You can expect the next check-in to be all about them and I'll try to update you in Quips as well!

It's been a difficult year and every post I see from you always gives me something to look forward to. So excited to see the finished product!!
I absolutely love this style! If the set includes a woven rocking chair, it will be in every one of my houses. Your creations are beautiful!
I totally agree with you! A woven rocking chair would be wonderful! Thx Valia for your incredible work, i love it!!!

I love this set, so excited!
Oh the grapevines are gonna be so cool!! And I can always use another lattice foundation!!
I absolutely love this whole vibe, loving your work!
Oh! I'd love it if the grapevines could also be used outdoors (with real grape plants disguised among them). I want one of my families to live at a winery and make & sell nectar. Either way, excited for this set! :-)
I'm so excited for the next set! Especially the grape vines 🍇🫶
So Excited!
The foundation and walls. Love, love, love! I can't wait for all you do :)
Oh, those grapevines. I just know they're going to look good.
