In the Making #2
Hey everyone!
I’m here with a new In the Making post, showing you the latest updates from the past few days!
I started working on the stained glass designs because I knew I wanted to give myself enough time to make these properly. I’m already on design number 3, and as you can see, I’m making a simpler version for each more complicated design. This way, you can mix and match them without the windows feeling too busy or repetitive.
I’ve also been posting more Quips this week about the process, and I’d love to keep doing that! So if you’re interested in seeing more behind-the-scenes bits, keep an eye out for them.
And thank you so much for all the lovely comments on the Quips! I’m really happy to see that you’re enjoying the direction this set is going in. It’s been really fun sharing more of the process with you. I’m also planning to post more of these, so you can follow along more closely and see what I’m working on as the set comes together.

I'm serious.. you're quickly becoming one of the best content creators I've ever seen in terms of maxis match. Next to you and Felixandre, your level of creation is immaculate. It is so Maxis matched, yet so original. I would have to say it's just that good. Knowing that there is FelixAndre and Peacemaker and Sixam and HeyHarrie, the big dogs of the cc world, but I would have to say you are just right up there at number two, personally my top 5 now are Felix, Valia, Pierisim, Harrie, Peacemaker. In that order. If you keep coming out with phenomenal shit like this like the stained glass and more stuff since you only started just a few years ago, easily see you taking over. I can't even put it into words ♡ ♡ ♡ My biggest dream would be that I would be able to make content the way you do. But the one thing you guys have in common at least you Felix and Harrie (that I know of) are that you all have careers in the world of computers, graphic design, computer science or engineering ...something, I highly doubt somebody who's never been thoroughly trained or gone to school in computers of any kind could ever achieve the degree of perfection that you and the others have, and maybe I could get there, but it would take years of education First. You guys are prime examples of what a little bit of education or knowledge in graphics or computer engineering, just that extra bit of knowledge puts you a thousand miles above the rest in terms of content and know how and quality of CC.

To know you're thinking this when I have the exact same favorites (minus myself of course :D) When I started I couldn't even dare to imagine I could be as good as them and I always doubt myself when I see how perfect their work is. On the second thing, I think knowing your way on a computer obviously helps but I think you can definitely start without any knowledge. The best way to learn is to do it. I learned Blender from Youtube tutorials. I was so afraid to start creating CC, I always said it's too hard, I couldn't do it. But you never know if you don't try it out. I think to achieve something good you only need to have that creative need in you, the want to create something. When I was younger I loved to draw, that was my "thing" when I felt the most fulfilled. And now I feel the same way when I can create my items. I feel like I can bring something to life with my tools and it's the best feeling ever since I was little and did my drawings. I think if you have that motivation you'll learn the tools along the way because they're the tools and not the goal. So don't feel discouraged because you had a different career path. It might help but I think it's not the secret ingredient.

Gosh those are perfection! I just love everything about them I love the art nouveau inspiration I just love this style I wish them to be in paralives as I do not play the Sims anymore :'(

maybe, just maybe you consider expanding or make windows and doors inspired by set from Realm of Magic? Stained glass is perfect for this and RoM set is lacking so much it's impossible to use

I've checked his work and I think for this set it would be too geometric. I'd like them to have an organic feel, like flowers, plants. That's what I found on Victorian stained glass styles and I want them to fit the collection.
