WOTMQ: Resurrection? No Thanks!
Okay, gang! Here we go!
I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am to be posting a couple videos today. After nearly three months, I'd almost forgotten how much I love making these damned things (literally). I have such a feeling of renewed gratitude. I'm so happy to be sharing these with you.
And this IS the one I wrote back in July when I was in really bad shape — bad enough that I didn't have the strength to shoot it (there's a line at the end that gives it away). This month's shoot was no walk in the park either. I get easily winded and my legs get shaky real quick. So back in July, I put a chair in my studio so I could take breaks between shooting takes. Did the same this month. Very helpful!!!
Anyway, I think the title kinda says it all for this one. I'd rather not be resurrected with a physical body. How 'bout you?
Thanks again for hanging with me. There will be months where I'm probably not going to be able to make any videos. But so long as I can... I will... with your help.
You're all the very best people. Extra blessings and indulgences for everyone!!! Enjoy! B

Brian - So glad to see you back in the saddle again!! I echo many of the previous comments! Your snark has definitely not lost it's edge! Besides the transporter pun, the backside bit, with it's dramatic pause, had me laughing out loud. Hope you get enough laughs doing these as usns that have the privilege of watching them - I firmly believe that laughter is indeed the best medicine. Keep on keepin on!
Beautiful BriBri, oh, right, public, Mister Deity! Well, hell, I've now lost my damn comment, TWICE ! Over an hour, but I'll try again, cuz you're so worth it. Holy Hitch, dawkins dammit, son of a sam!,(ooh, that one fits!lol ) you actually, as predicted,(by me!) look and sound better and better! I'm sorry you feel so crappy, I bet the leukemia hits hard, and then the chemo smacks hard from the other direction. Though, as Dr.Hank Green said, during his (successful) fight, you get to 'piss and poop' the cancer out with chemo. His twin brother,(the author) , looked awful. Aged worse. But, you, my dear, look way too sexy, too hot to handle,(oh, wow, just realized why! You're nuclear!!) Looking back, like the 2015video, yep, you're just getting hotter! Anyway, maybe joe implemented my plan? You should. Now guilt free, they're christofascists! Revert, (easier now with legit medical) get bigger bucks, work your way to PTL with your 'jesus juice' , go on their show. Hell, they'd roll out the red carpet, (you being a white man!) offer you pick of their virgin daughters, (quiverfull?) Then, you see behind the scenes, and sue them, BIGLY! I know, ethics. But them,? Remember, ill gotten gains! Ok, seriously, take care and don't overdo! We love you FEELing good. I'm just so happy to see you're ok (ish), I jabber on and on! I'll hit when I get in on YouTube. 👍🩵💖💙💝🩵🥰✌️

Oh, beautiful BriBri, I'm 'commenting', before I watch or read others. And still I eff it up,lol. I don't care if you don't post videos, just that you feel better.🥹 Oh, well, I do love them,(so I can watch you, in my 'stalking the eyecandy😉😘sorta way!) And, though I'm always late,🙄 my 'groupy' type feels are ever present, and no matter if you get skinny, fat, hairy, bald, get the gist? You'll always be my 'internet crush' , as it really is your mental machinations that are devastatingly HOT! See, we can tell you take nuclear meds, your fusion is off the charts. Ok, I'd better stop before I get more into ffd
LOL! 😂 Always love seeing your comments — both here and on YouTube. Thanks so much! ❤️
It's good to see you back!
I've been wondering what happens to my transplants! I have Fuch's Dystrophy, and have had one epithelial layer transplant in each eye. I fear my resurrected body will be blind!
LOL! 😂
There's still a long and rocky road ahead, but it's great to see you back doing what you love. Keep on rockin' your stuff — at your own pace, and with as many breaks as you need. We're rooting for you!
Speaking of scars after death, I have a hospital joke to share with you. I'm sure by now you know very well how hard it is for a phlebotomist to find a vein after so many IVs. With all the scarring in the skin and the veins, it gets tough (and no, I'm not sorry for the pun). On me it's so bad they have to use ultrasound to place them in my forearm. In order to lighten the mood, I make a joke so they'll be giggling when the needle goes in—so at least THEY won't feel it (masochist?). "You're gonna kill me with all these IVs! When I get to heaven, I'll tell God, 'Look, these phlebotomists have made me holier than your son!' ...and he'll say, 'GO TO HELL!!'" It's been "bringing down the ward" for six years now!
Thanks! I've wondered about the same things: would my 3 big scars (2 hip replacement, 1 knee replacement) be gone? Would I get rid of my epilepsy and migraines? How about the bad back? Could I shed 50 years and go back and hike in the mountains of southern California (hello, condors!) This one really came out kicking. Congrats on hitting it out of the park.
If I were a betting man, I'd go all-in with my IV scars joke, call your two hip replacements, and raise you a necrotic shoulder replacement (if I COULD raise my shoulder, that is!). In this high-ante game, you can't even open with a mere knee replacement!!
Damn, Brian! Can't believe you feel well enough to make videos. Truth be told, you really have lost a lot of weight. Like I said, the cure often seems worse than the illness. As for the afterlife and resurrected bodies, you already know my take on that delusion according to the dogma of our former cult: https://www.casteyanqui.com/heresies/fingergod.html
I lost 42.3 pounds in the hospital. And it's really hard to put the weight back on. My body looks like that of a death camp survivor. I have almost no muscle. Which makes doing anything difficult. I used to have really good leg muscles. Now, I can barely stand or walk for more than 5-10 minutes. I'm pretty sure I've read that piece before. I remember it being very good. I'll read it again. Perhaps it will inspire an episode. Thanks again!
You may be moving a little slower, but the snark is 100% intact and I'm so glad to see you you back. Take your time, you're stuff is worth waiting for.
Love the Transporter reference. ;)
I like that one too! My brain has always made weird connections that others don't make. Now, it actually pays off! Hope you're well.
Glad to see you back in the game. You were missed and I hope your good days are everyday!
first!!! Welcome back, Bri Bri! Stay strong and smart. :)
