WOTM: God Intended It!
Because of what I do, I watch a lot of debate content between make-believers and non-believers. And recently, I've been hearing a lot of talk from team evil God about “intentionality" — that the universe had to be created by a Being who intended to Create this world. I don't think they've thought this through!

Staggering numbers! Though undoubtedly high and reprehensible, the 100,000,000 for indigenous peoples in the Americas seems hyperbolic. What's your source for that particular statistic?
If I remember correctly, that wasn't a claim for just the Americas(?). I think it was for Christian colonialism in total. If not, I may have misspoke (miswritten?).
My husband has always said "either god doesn't exist, or he's an asshole" I think my husband is right.
Yep. And not only that, But if the Tribal War god of Abraham is real, no one is safe. He's such an asshole, no one can trust what He says about what's going to happen to us in the next life. He's the ultimate gangsta! Not to mention... sadist.
The follow-up question is obvious .... why? What did this god get out of his act of creation? It created a sentient species just to worship him? Needy motherfucker isn't it?

Imagine a being so almighty and powerful and knowing that he created beings that would realize what a horrible, monstrous, bastard he is that they refuse to believe such a being could exist.
Small correction: you've got Genghis and Kublai backwards. Genghis was first and years later his grandson Kublai took over. Kublai's kingdom was the world's largest.
