WOTM: Resurrection: Improbable (according to Bill Craig)
Hey gang! I’m uploading this one, long video as a freebie, because this is how I want you to see it — it’s how I’ll release it on YouTube as well. But I’ve easily spent two months working on it. So, I’m gonna need to break it up here into multiple (still longer than normal) videos which I'll charge for so that I can continue to eat and pay my bills. There will be no intros or outros in those multi-part videos. I’m just gonna cut from one bit to the next. But you’ll have the final, continuous piece here in this free video. For the record, my normal videos are between 8 (quickeys) to twelve paragraphs long. This one is 59 paragraphs. And I don’t wanna break it up for YouTube, because when I do multi-part videos, each following video loses a substantial number of viewers. So, thanks in advance for understanding!
The gist of the video is that I’ve taken a quote from Low Bar Bill about the resurrection, and used it to show that Bill’s comment makes the resurrection improbable… incredibly improbable! Which I’ve demonstrated quite well, and quite exhaustively, in this video. Or so I think. It’s the longest video I’ve ever produced for the channel, and it will be my magnum opus on the resurrection. At least in terms of this one aspect.
Thank you all again for your continued support. There’s no way I could make something like this without that support. So, extra blessings for everyone. Enjoy (when you have an extra thirty minutes or so 😘)! B

Brian-- As usual, fkg brilliant! I know you've covered this before, but every time the Resurrection is discussed, it's said ~"God raised Jesus from the dead." But...but Jesus IS God, so-- How could he have been dead? [Was Nietzsche right?] And if not, couldn't the J-man just raise himself? [Let me look up 'omniscient' again.] So confusing!
This link makes clear (!?) how the two animals into Jerusalem was done. https://bibleauthenticity.com/did-jesus-ride-into-jerusalem-on-one-or-two-animals/ Talk about squeezing something through the eye of the needle.
LOL! 😂❤️
Joshua!! I got that.
“Scientists have calculated that the chances of something so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one. But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten.” ― Terry Pratchett The difference between Pratchett and Lane, is that Pratchett was being intentionally laughable.
Question for bill. You say I should believe the supernatural claims of Christianity such as the resurrection, before I do that please explain why I should not believe the supernatural claims of other religions?
His plea will be very special.
The founder of Christianity made it clear that he never met his friend Jesus, that he only conversed with him supernaturally. In other words Paul claimed that he was a medium, maybe even a super-duper medium. Then ask any Christian whether they would take anything uttered by a modern medium at face value. Yep ... they wouldn't.
Well, if he was a super-duper medium, that's a different story! LOL! 😂
A brilliant and insightful video, thank you very much!!
You and Gary Habermas having resurrection magnum opi (opuses?) within months of each other is too amazing to be just a coincidence, don't you think?
Poor Low Bar Bill. He probably thinks the Harry Potter stories really happened. He must love the movie "Practical Magic." Does he believe what his daily Horoscope reveals, and lives his life accordingly? He must collect and store every fortune cookie stuck in his takeout Chinese food. What he is really asserting is a belief in the… "Stupidnatural."
I'm sure there's a post no bills joke on here somewhere
