WOTMQ: Our First Attempt
Excusegetics is really nothing more than lying to people for a living — trying to make people believe that the most vile laws, acts, and commands could come from an all-loving, all-powerful, all-knowing Being. Hitch spoke of religion as being our first attempt at making sense of the world. We have to move upward and onward from that!
Looking back over the last three years... they've been rough. I had a somewhat debilitating car accident in February of 2023, a break up later that month, three months of additionally debilitating anemia in March of 2024 (from which I'm still recovering), a really bad election last November, I lost both of my doggie friends in the last two years, and I stubbed my toe the other night on the corner of the bed! But through it all, I've had your support and the happiness and purpose I get making these videos. There are no words to express my gratitude. I'm getting a little verklempt. Seriously!!! Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic. Early Romanesque architecture was neither early, nor Romanesque. Discuss!
Seriously folks, I don't know what I'd do without you. Happy New Year to all! And extra blessings and indulgences for everyone. I'm even giving everyone a self-authenticating way to know that something you want to be true IS true regardless of the evidence. And demanding that children be forced to see their 'guidlines', ie ' the commandments, every day in school!
What truly disturbs me is that so-called "leaders" have now reverted to that "first attempt"… murdering, raping, enslaving, denying medicine and science, claiming they're entitled to invade other countries… all while asserting that they're "christians." Gag.
